Cross posted from Discord It's that time of year again folks! The time where I remind you to get off your Thanksgiving turkey stuffed rears, and remind you to start tuning up your sleds and getting your dogs in shape. It's time for the DG annual sled race!!!! As usual, the race will start NEW YEARS DAY. Also as usual, I don't really care how hungover you are, I will duct tape you to the sled if I have to. Now to the boring bits. RULES! *No Wildz *No mini/toy breeds *Dogs must be 50 or older on the sliders *Dogs must be physically able to pull a sled *Teams are not required to, but are HIGHLY recommend to start with 16 dogs. *You must take TWO 8 hour rests, and ONE 24 hour rests, at checkpoints of your choice. *All Team Cards and entries are due back to me by Dec. 28. Christmas dinner induced comas are not an excuse. *TURN YOUR SHEETS IN EVERY DAY BEFORE 7PM CST OR I WILL LEAVE YOU IN THE SNOW -NOTE- If you are Thor or in a vastly different time zone, please PM me, and we will work out an acceptable time to get your sheet turned in by Entry form Team Name: Your Email: Food: Picture of Team:

Yay! I don't think I will be home on New years day, I think we'll get home on the 2nd. I'm not sure if I'll have access to internet or not either. So would it be okay if I send in my stuff a few days early or something? Team Name: Aspen Grove Your Email: dukesgrouppets@gmail.com Food: Earthborn Dry Kibble mixed with Hot water and meat (Chicken & Beef) Picture of Team: I'll try to get a better image of my team, as you can see... they need some tuning up XD

Team Name: Borealis Your Email: me@amberwiseman.com Food: Sport Dog Food mixed in hot water with chunks of a variety of meat and fat (per iditarod.com/edu/food/ ). For calorie calculations, assume that I'm adding ~474 kcal of meat/fat calories to cups of food (ie. food has ~526 kcal/cup, I'm adding hot water and ~474 kcal of various meat/fat chunks, meaning each time I feed "1 cup" of food, it is ~1000 calories). ^Emmer, I'm guessing the dry kibble is probably a certain kind of dry kibble. It doesn't say on the website. We'll need to know what kind to accurately calculate the calories and such.
