Wow, I was unsure the money part would be a hit lol. Okay, I'll put more thought into it all and see what I can come up with. Then I will post my ideas and see what you guys think.
As for the retirement part, I know I said they'd need to be retired, but I think I'll change it to your choice. So if you'd like to retire a pet, then you can and then you may choose another pet to take it's place. But if you wish to keep a dog in for a long while, then that should be fine too.
Oooh just thought of something. When we see a lot of puppies around, we could do a puppy playgroup!
What do you guys think about simply doing a free for all on the playgroups and contests? So if you feel like holding one you can choose a day to do it, then post it on the playgroup or contests board? I think that would be more fun. You can also choose to hold more than one a month if you wish.
Glad to get new ideas flowing through here!

Okay, here's what I came up with so far:
Money Idea.... (Duke's Group)
Start out money?
Stuff you have to pay for:
*Becoming a Breeder / starting up a kennel : $1,000.00 *Breeder dogs: $500.00 Per dog *Stud service: *Dame Service: *Buying new dogs: $500.00 Per dog *Entering shows: $25.00 entry fee *Entering contests ? $25.00 entry fee *Pet sitting: *Doggy Daycare: *Toyz: *Training: *Opening a Business: $1,000
Stuff you earn money for:
*Selling puppies: You choose, limit is 1,000 *Stud service: You choose, but not over 1,000.00 *Dame service: You choose, but not over 1,000.00 *winning shows: If your holding the show, you choose what the money prizes will be. *winning contests: Same as the shows *Pet sitting: You choose, but don't go overboard *Doggy Daycare: You choose, but don't go overboard *Selling toyz: You choose, but don't go overboard *Training: You choose, but don't go overboard
I need ideas on what the start out money should be, granted most of us already have stuff going, so not sure how to work around that unless we deduct it.
Wasn't sure if we should have to pay for entering contests or not since they are supposed to be for fun and need as many entries as we can get. I'm afraid if we put a price on it, people will be less likely to enter. What do you guys think?
Opening a Business, would be something such as selling toyz, being a pet sitter, or doggy day care, or training...etc...
Wasn't sure if we should add a price on stuff in the game or not since people could easily cheat at that. Opinions?

I'm letting people choose the stud service, dame service, pet sitting, daycare, toyz, & training stuff. Stud & dame service usually are in the hundreds, or they would just like one of the puppies. Toyz can run from $1.00 to 1,000 dollars depending on the size and such. Say like an A-frame could cost 700-1,000 dollars. Just tryin to make it a little realistic. I was thinking about 3,000 for the start out money as well. Anybody else have a thought on it?

3,000 is fine for me.. Soo.. I have spent 1,000 already on becoming a breeder, right? Or do we start this when everyone accepts? And how do we keep our money?

[blockquopte]If you mean keeping track Danay, that's simple. Use WordPad. If people vote for this, you have to assume they are responsible enough to handle using money and therefore you'd keep track of it by yourself. You could keep a note of the total amount of your money in your signature but do all the calculations and stuff on WordPad. So if DJ suspects somebody is cheating with how much money they have, she can check their recent posts.[/blockquote]

I figured if we started at 3,000, maybe we would just say everything we've already done has been payed for. If we were to start at 5,000 I'd have everybody deduct everything they've done from that and then they'd start out with how ever much they had left. I was thinking I'd make a bank board and put everybody's name and how much money they have. Then I would deduct the money and add the money to that. So if you buy something then I'd either see it and deduct it, or you could PM me or something like that. You could also keep track yourself if you wish, in case I do something wrong, which mistakes happen! Sooo... New boards are in the works!!!
As for the training thing, I'm going to make a new board named Dog Training. You will then have to apply to become a dog trainer, if you are accepted, you will need to make your own thread on everything you offer, your own rules...etc... Just remember guys, sometimes you can train a dog in one game and they won't remember it in the next. (sometimes) So don't be mad if you get your dog back and it still doesn't know anything.

Alright! First of all, I made a new forum skin. It's nice and purple for those of you who haven't seen it yet.
Next, The jobs are ready for people to apply! The Bank is also now open, along with my Toy Store: Toyz-R-US ! Go check it out!
Also, I'm thinking for selling puppies and dogs only, to allow income to come from the public as well. Since we can't continuously breed dogs here and expect this small group of people to buy them, we will run out of space quickly! So the rules for this are:
Only puppies bred from your breeding dogs here can be sold, and bring in an income. Please no overbreeding still, please stick to the breeding rules. Don't go on a breeding rampage just to get a lot of money.
When you are making a deposit and I ask where the money came from, feel free to say why, as well as link to the page you made the sell. Even if it is on another site or forum.
Also, don't remember if I said it or not, but I've accepted the rule change of at least expanding the breeding dogs number. For now it is unlimited, but if I see it getting out of hand I will put a limit back on it.
I think that's it! Enjoy!
EDIT:
Also, with the money, this means we need more people hosting shows and having money prizes! Make sure if you hold a show you also judge that show! We also need some contests going as well! Possibly another playgroup to look forward to. Feel free to schedule um in guys! Use your imagination!
EDIT 2:
I've opened 2 new shows: Amy's Dog Show #2, and Amy's Obedience Trial #1. I also opened a contest!: Amy's Contest #5 (#2 Auto Rolling Ball Game). Please enter! Prize money will be awarded! Along with prizes in the obedience trial.

Forgot to mention, you don't have to pay the entry fee if you are holding the contest. Yet your dogs may still enter. Also, take a look at everything new I added and let me know if you like it, or see anything I should change. Thanks!
