I think we should have everyone do a show weekly, but I think only one person should do a contest a week, so that we're not sending our petz off to play groups and contests all the time. I think we should keep it at 5, and I also think that we should have people only send off one pet to play groups so the person running it isn't overloaded with petz. Also, I think that the people running a contest/playgroup should send the petz back so they remember their travels and remember their friends.

I agree with jenn but perphapse have the limit of petz sent to playgroups per person should be two. EDIT: One other thing, are we allowed to start shows right now or do we have to wait still?

Okay, I'd like to wait till next week just so we can have time to get everyone's opinion and get everything organized.
I agree with sending only 2 petz at a time, that sounds fair. How about we keep the limit at 5, the only way we can go over 5 and then the limit is 10 is if there are puppies / kittens produced in the group. I agree petz should be sent back.
I hope the rest of the members also get in on this so we can get their opinions as well.

I think you should post on the "Dukes Group" on RKC for everyone to participate in this convo. I also think you should delete the accounts that aren't needed.

Another thing- I think that (minus sendy's since it's already there) that there should be a place to post any adoptions with no info about the pet except breed/name/gender/one picture and all of them in the same thread and then people offer to foster them and let them participate in Duke's Group and then the fosterer's make a new thread for them with their personality/pictures/other info about them until someone wants to adopt them.

I love the flyball one! It's awesome! I think that you should make a few threads explaining the fostering/adopting rules, and contest rules, playgroup rules, etc. If you want, I can make them, but I think they should be up soon so people can see them and make sure they understand. I also think you should make a list of the members, randomly or alphabetically, so that when we start playgroups and contests, we know who's first, second, etc. I could do that also if needed.

Thank you I just made it today. I just added some stuff, and did the fostering/adopting rules, if you could, go check it out and see if I missed anything or if it's hard to understand. I can then add it in. I've been holding off on the Contest, and play group rules to see exactly how everyone wanted to do them so that I'd know what to write. So far, correct me if I'm wrong, I *think* we've decided on: *Regular picture shows: Held daily - judged when it is full, as long as everyone holds at least 1 show a week then it's good. You can hold more though. I say 1 show at a time and don't open new one till 1st one is judged. *Contests: Once a week? (Do we want once or twice a week? They are judged on the same day and dogs are all sent back that night) *Play Groups: Once a week, dogs sent early in day, and sent back that night or next morning. (I still have to make a board for this, might not have time tonight though) Person holding play group will post pictures and tell all about what's going on in the Play Group board. *I have a list of all members, still waiting for one to join, but everyone else has made it . I can post up the list in a new sub-board in the members area. Just names, no emails. (***Note on the emails, the only people in here are the members of Duke's group... grand total of 8, is there still a problem with posting emails? Everyone will know them by the end any ways...***) Anything I missed?

I'm fine with that, but anybody can view most of the forum whether they're registered or not and I'd rather not have the whole world know my e-mail.

I'm fine with emails either way. Spammers don't worry me. I think the fostering rules are fine. Easy to understand, the only thing I think you should do is make a form to foster a pet, and how to foster a pet. I think that for playgroups and contests, dogz/catz are sent early in the day, like you said, but are sent back that night OR the morning after. (I believe you said that for playgroups, but not contests) because I know that sometimes, I'm really busy and won't have time some nights. I also think that there should be something where if you KNOW the night the playgroup is that you won't be able to send that night or early the next morning, they contact you and you post here that Playgroup #[?] will be sent back late, because I know that once in a while I might have to do that since I'm just starting college for dog training and showing in RL. (finally raised enough money! WOO!)
