LONG TIME NO SEE
Actually, I'm on every day, but with so much in RL going on atm sometimes I don't get to post as much as I would like:)
I started a new thread because this year I'm trying some new things with my petz and the direction I want to go with them. I've always loved stories and acting them out (one of the reason I love this game so darn much, even at 23) and FINALLY got a little system down to make my petz playing experience more fun! To add a bit of story line and random to it as well:) I numbered all my petz and have decided to raise as many as I can this year of my hexies and a few breddies, and get to know them cause that's why I adopt them in the first place. Each pet gets a random age to start at, and when they reach 100 they get replaced by another pet (though I rotate already raised petz out ecause after all that work I get super attached)
SO...without further adieu.
Insanity Kennelz is changing slightly into Insanity Ranch. We moved our smooth collie operation out onto a sheep/cattle ranch out in the Rocky Mountains! I hope to streamline and further our breeding and have also opened up parts of the ranch for foster care for all sorts of creatures ^-^ Not only do we raise Smooth Collies, we also are going to continue to build up our Quarter Horse regime
Monty is the only Collie I have at the ranch right now, and he has been working his butt off with the sheep we keep.
Its left to him to bring them in and out at night, and seeing my collie FINALY in their element is SO MUCH FUN. I can't wait to establish some quality livestock lines and have plenty for them to do. As it is right now there are only sheep. I couldn't handle more with the one dog.
^-^
The only Kitten in the house is Kamikaze (hexed by Rebs), and because he is so small, he isn't allowed out of doors. Monty watches him and the others like a hawk lol.
Mortimer and Tavari are the resident dogz at the moment. Young still but a barrel of laughs! Mortimer was hexed by Manda and Tavari was hexed by Kimberly.
We have special facilities to foster larger animals, but the only wild thing on the ranch at the moment is Baako, a resident orphaned lion cub. Eventually he will be rehomed to a big cat facility, but for now he LIVES to play with his little mice and be hugged and cuddled.
And last but not least, I recieved the first quarter horse to arrive at Insanity Ranch:
Leander:) Hexed by Me and destined to be the lead pony of the ranch. He is a bit older, I bought him at an auction house for cheap because he is only half grown and while I can't do much with him yet, he'll be thrown out to pasture with the sheep in the morning. A few months playing around with the sheep and goats will be good for him. Too bad its so snowy
Along side him is a new little colt who is good for almost nothing right now:) Little foal that he is, I adore his markings and cannot wait to see the full grown product of him.
^baha, fell in the cold water goofing off this morning. Oh boy.
So this thread will be a bit of my log, though don't expect super frequent updates. School started this week so between that, 3 jobs, being a single mom and all the court stuff right now Petz is my ESCAPE
