I am in the process of giving our DG Projects a Makeover! I was reading through all of our old and current projects looking for ideas and realized..... There always seems to be high interest when they start but they are rarely if ever completed...
So! I am in currently making a list of project ideas I think would be fun but aren't going to be difficult or time consuming to complete.
I've also decided that there will now be prizes for anyone who completes a project. Which means....
I am going to try to go on a huge toy / clothes / pet / playscene hexing spree and I'll either make a thread or a website page with pictures of all the stuff. Then when you complete a project you will be able to choose something off that page to have!
However.... I know we have a lot of talented people around the forum and I'd love it if some other people could help me out with this process! If you can make toys, playscenes, breeds, hexed petz, clothes, ANYTHING and send them in to me to put up that would be amazing!
Also.... since DG is now leaning more towards most people playing Petz 5, I will be doing all of my stuff in p5. If someone would like to volunteer to convert files to p4 then that would be amazing. I don't have the motivation or time to make them for both programs.
So..... any volunteers?

I can pale petzies, stamps and petz trading cards for winners.
Also maybe we could do some think like milk does with theme "weeks"? They usually last 2 or more weeks but like there was a Pokemon week and a Harry potter week and just finished a get to know you week which included a kind of "exchange" trip where someone hosted someone else's baby for the week? We could do things like hunting week or a safari week would be cool and petz could like go meet wildz or whatever...a host week where each day the petz go meet a new host pet at the various scenes?
I also think maybe we could focus on projects that focus more on keeping petz you have rather than adopting new ones each month? And while the new petz would still be an option the keeping will be encouraged so that the group as a whole can fall in love again with petz like Mia and Chedey?

Thank you for your input Shade! Greatly appreciated! I'd love if you wanted to make some of those, but there won't really be any winners it's more of a 'If you complete this project, you get to pick a prize out of these options' I have a whole list of ideas going right now, all of them focus on using the petz you have now except for our occasional PKCAN that we do. So I think we're good there I think the themed weeks sound really interesting! I kinda think it'd be funner to do it at our own houses though instead of sending our petz to each other for it. Though I think throwing some fun 'trips' in there would be fun. Or people hosting playgroups for safaris and zoo trips and stuff would be fun too. Maybe we could post a list of playgroup ideas up in the playgroup thread with those kind of things? I'd love more ideas on the themed weeks and I'll put some thought into them as well so we can do them in our own way. Thanks again!

I said winners didn't I...not what I meant. I meant people involved. I would happily offer the custom stamp, card, or petzie for them to choose from rather than having premade ones. And if they use the same petz on the various projects I can make the stamps/cards/petzies from their other petz too.
The sending petz to someone else's house is just one example of a theme week activity. I was thinking for example the safari theme we could bring in our wildz for our petz to discover. for people that don't own any we could have a bank for people(like me who have many) to share them. Or a "farm week" where our petz go and work with livestock(again those that don't have any could borrow from those of us that do). I thought it would else help doing things like that for people who are craving to have more petz but don't want to loose the motivation.

A pet exchange program over the summer might be nice, honestly community events that have prizes seem to get the most attention though

Thank you Penny! I'll try to think of some fun exchanges we can do too. Prizes will be available for anyone who completes a project.

I'm a bit late to this but I agree with a few others that projects you can do with your own petz would be better.
Sadly I haven't got a clue how to hex anything but petz but I can do graphics if anyone's interested? Maybe even hand-drawn doodles as long as they aren't too time consuming. I should draw more so it'd be a good excuse.
