For now this is only for 1 sheltie in particular but It's possible I may pull in other "collies" so *shrugs*
I adopted the yellow pup from Vanilla's latest litter on PKC. Her name is Royalty's White Noise "Gwendolen" Gwen for short. She is a deaf pup! The first thing to do was obviously get her settled down after the long drive from Nilla's residence to my own. It really didn't take her long. And she was very happy to be allowed out of her Kennel, it is a long drive.
Next I was giving her time to get used to her new surroundings. I forget how small shelties are as puppies. I watched her carefully around the outside water trough(which is a horrible word to try and spell), I really didn't want her hurt or the smell of wet dog. Luckily she stayed out of it. She even threw me a couple poses. I know we will have to work on that as she ages though from Nilla's Eval.
Since she seemed to be doing well I decided to introduce her to my two other Royalty shelties. Euphrosyne(Tan) and Luke(merel) along with my cat Ratna. She did not meet Ratna with the dogz. Her and Luke hit it off right a way. She even slept with him! Euphrosyne...I'm not sure about. She appeared to be growling while they were sleeping together. Maybe it was because the two were sleeping, maybe she doesn't like Gwen because Gwen poses quicker, catches the frisbee better(even if she's not the most eager to give it back) or maybe she feels that Gwen may take her potential mate. It's hard to say. Gwen and Ratna seemed to get along great and frequently bounced around together. Ratna did not understand the point in catching the flying disc though and was concerned the small fluff may hurt herself jumping after it.
