Our kids started out with one cat each (I let them all choose a pet of their own and they ALL chose a white cat). Interesting! Well... they are also starting to produce kittens and I figured I needed a place to show off their cute petz too. Let's introduce their catz they chose first!
This is Khloe's cat, Fluffy! She's a pure white Persian, adopted on October 19th, 2018.
This is Keera's cat, Lovely! She's a pure white Chinchilla Persian, adopted on October 24th, 2018.
This is Rex's cat, Snowball! He's a pure white Chinchilla Persian, adopted on October 25th, 2018.
Now for the beginning of their offspring...
Fluffy has fallen in love with my Honeybear Zeus;
Their first kitten is named Kasen;
They have another on the way and it's due any day now.
Now... Kasen.... fell in love with Keera's cat Lovely...
It's the cutest little thing! <3
I'll try to post more pics as more happens and such. I just let them play and let things happen naturally. It's fun to see them playing the game as it's intended. Their favorite things to do are dressing the cats up and throwing them themed parties. They usually include my petz too and I come back to all sorts of fun surprises!

I have to say... Rex has really good taste when dressing up his cat! He's great at matching the clothes and knowing exactly what he wants his cat to wear. His favorite thing to do is dress up his cat then play in the snow scene.
Just for reference, Khloe is 9 years old, Keera is 7, and Rex is 3.

I have actually done custom music before but I have never had any issues with it. You could try renaming it as one of the original songs and remove the original song from the songz folder.
