I've decided to foster one of the feral kittens that was brought in the other day, thank you Amy for giving me this opportunity! I'm super excited to work with this little guy!
Speaking of...here is the kitten in question!
They're a male and happen to be severly malnourished, so it's my goal to get this guy happy and healthy again!
Luckily for me, they don't seem to be afraid of human contact, so hopefully that'll make things go a little smoother. Just so I can keep my progress up to date, I'll also be posting his stats with every update 
His weight seems to be one of the main problems, along with a rather large level of neglect. So to start off, I'm going to get this kitten something to eat!
  
Well, that was easier than I thought! He ate nearly his entire bowl of food, and already seems to be feeling a bit better.
I gave the poor thing a quick wash just to make sure he was as comfortable as possible, and discovered his love for being brushed!
 
Due to this being his first day here, I wanted to keep things rather calm, especially since he seems to be a tad afraid of new things.
However, he seemed to warm up to his new environment rather quickly, and spent the rest of the day enjoying some treats and even playing a bit with a ball of yarn!
 
We ended the day off with a nap, so far I'm proud of the progress we've made! Hopefully, things continue to go smoothly and this little guy will be happy and healthy once more!

Awwww, I'm sure he'll warm up to you nicely and express more of his undiscovered personality soon You know he'll be especially fond of you being presumably the only human he's bonded with <3 |

It's day two of caring for the kitten I'm fostering! I really have to think of a name for this little guy... Anyways, he seemed to be feeling a lot better today, even striking a pose for the camera!

What cuties! BSB, I hope you can befriend this scared lil kitty!! That's awesome that neglect went down by 10 pts woot.

Day 3 of caring for the feral kitten! I've had a super busy week, but now back to petz I go! 
Speaking of this little guy, he finally has a name! For now he's Thomas! Checking his stats, I noticed Thomas's neglect went down by another 10 points! I'm surprised at how effective my care has been, but I couldn't be happier! 
Per usual, I started off the day by giving Thomas some food, and BSB joined in to eat with his new playmate. BSB, despite being quite the confident cat, seems to be lacking in the common sense department. Here you can see BSB licking his lips wihile he awaits his turn to eat, when there was another food bowl he could've just eaten out of!  
Rather odd behavior from BSB, honestly he infatuates me. Apparently he the same effect on Thomas as well!  
We also had another treat party, in an attempt to keep Thomas well fed, which of course BSB joined in on 
We also encountered our first wild critter, a mouse! Upon closer inspection BSB decided he wasn't a fan, so I took the pair to the flower garden in order to settle their nerves from the unexpected visitor 
The pair also discovered the joy of the auto-rolling ball while they frolicked among the flowers! That's all for today, until tomorrow! |

Day 4! Its been a little while since I've last updated and opened petz, so let's see how it's going! 
These two were clearly very excited to see one another! They began pouncing on eachother right out of the gate! Anyways, here's Thomas's stats for the day! Neglect didn't go down from our last update, but that makes sense given I haven't had much time to spend on these two. 
Of course, we started off the day by eating, which ended up being more difficult than I thought considering neither would leave the other alone! Constantly pouncing on each other, it was chaos for little while.  
We decided to keep things calm for the day, I spent a lot of time brushing both BSB and Thomas, which seemed to put both cats at ease  
However this didn't last for long, so I thought it best to bring in another cat, one with more manners who could hopefully give these two a talking to! Enter Minx, from Dahi! 
Things weren't going well, the trio seemed to be having some sort of stand off. So in yet another attempt to calm the atmosphere, the music box was introduced. BSB was a natural DJ, while Thomas hit a note that could only be described as magical. 
The music seemed to work! BSB and Minx began to play with one another while Thomas seemed to become jealous of the new found friendship between Minx and BSB.  
Well, that's all for today! I only hope that Minx and Thomas can patch things up between them... |
