This is the story of a stuck pregnancy. Upon awakening I received a distress call
from somewhere across the galaxy. It went as follows:
What was I to do, but respond to their (perhaps last) request. I answered
the call with a transmission of my own:
Then I set to work unsticking the poor kitty's pregnancy. She was a lovely
tempered cat, and permitted the travel into the future without any fuss.
Through the procedure, she somehow put on tons of weight even though we
didn't stop at any point for food. After a long journey, a beautiful new kitten was born:
I was not sure what to name the little lad, so reached out for some helpful ideas.
I was not disappointed:
He has been named "Finally" for the moment. It will be up to Bird
to decide if that is suitable for him. My, this boy has a large head.
I decided to play with the two as a reward for the long and
tedious journey that we took. I wanted to learn a little about
the pair before transporting them back home.
Hope shared my sentiments of the tiring journey and seemed to be happy for a rest.
She was also pleased to meet her son that was stuck in her for such a long time.
I decided to entice her to eat. She didn't take long to convince.
She consumed the entire bowl and had several regrets.
Finally began to hiccup, since he was hungry too. Instead of feeding
the poor kitten, Hope picked him up in an effort to make him stop.
She was still a teensy bit on the thin side, after losing all her pregnancy weight
during the delivery. I left treats around for her in hopes of fattening her up.
Once she was at a good weight, she turned her attention to Finally and let him feed.
One last stop before sending these two home! We went to the toy closet
and got into all kinds of mischief. I also took them to the clothes closet
and let them dress up, since Halloween was not that long ago!
These two travellers are perfectly ready for their journey back home.
