I know all this is going to sound crazy and random to y'all... Let's just say that last month when I
was very much into petz, I decided that I wanted to write up a silly religion/cult beliefs
that we could jokingly follow xDD What inspired this you may ask? Well, years ago when I
was into Minecraft, I created an Acacia tree worship cult on a server as a joke; I wrote an
in-game book about it and it was a very amusing time in my childhood. To this day,
Acacia trees are still my favourite tree. Petz instills a similar passion in my heart as I
have for virtual and real acacia trees... So join me as a Petz praiser :-) xD
This is sort of like Folklore and a joke, so don't take it seriously, lol.
Petz Praisers believe that Petz of all types are magical creations of an all mighty entity known as the PF Wizard. This religion centres around the belief that the Petz online community is a special and sacred one that must be continued for infinity; Petz is praised as being the best virtual pet game of all time and efforts should be made for it to be preserved and enjoyed for as long as possible. Petz is like a program of prophet and one that contains love and life, while
newer cheap virtual pet games (Such as Ubisoft's Petz games) are said to be false prophets created only for profit! Profit does not equal Prophet! these games are void of the authentic
virtual life and spirit that PF Magic's Petz possess.
Here is an illustration of what the all mighty PF Magic Wizard would look like hahaha.
Rich is he or she with a naturally raised family tree ~ naturally breeding, raising, and bonding with your petz creates a special sentimental feeling in your heart and is highly encouraged.
It is believed that it's providence when petz fall in love, and that a puppy or kitten was
meant to be born between petz couples. Babies born due to providence are said to be blessed with beauty, talent, and other desirable traits.
Due to petz having a life cycle, metabolism, hunger, health, relationships with their owners and other petz, and unique personalities, petz are said to not only be illusions of life, but precious forms of virtual life. They can experience love, hate, romance, fear, excitement, and sleepiness. Every pet is a gift from Saint PF that should be cherished for at least a reasonable length of time if not for eternity.
A major objective of this religion will be to convert outsiders to Petz players.
Followers are encouraged to entice people to try the game, adopt and bond with a pet, and ultimately become part of the community for eternity.
Because the objective of Petz Praisers Religion is to keep the Petz community alive, the way you worship is by participating in online shows, contests, and events with your petz. Hosting and entering playdates, posing shows, and sports of all kinds is essential for keeping the community alive. For one to enjoy petz without participating in these events or showing your avatar in any petz forum is a disgrace and a shame. Petz is a simulation program that is an old treasure; many of it's players have grown up and or forgotten about the game. Will they ever return? Hopefully. And when they do it is the highest degree of delight for them to be welcomed in a niche community of people who worship- I mean, enjoy the same
special program! xD Petz is a lovely game on its own, but not nearly as lovely without all the custom content and community events and discussion around
it that takes place on online forums.
To do away with the precious life of a pet is an abomination unless you have praised, enjoyed, and honoured them for an era that is either briefor lengthy. At the end of a player's computer's life, when it is almost too slow to continue it's computing, they will be suddenly met with a popupwindow... "These were the animalz you cast yonder, why hast thou forsaken them?" The PF Wizard stares you in the face with all his pixelated glory with every pet you have ever deleted resting at the bottom of his wizardy robe as they gaze into your soul...
Heck, I had too much fun writing this xDD
