I've been really bad at posting here but I haven't been playing Petz all that much. I'm still really exhausted. Just to give you an idea -- I recently went back to Animal Crossing and I regularly forget what I was going to do or feel too tired to do much. It's bad. I've heard this can last for months but I hope I'll get better ASAP because it's so annoying! Anyway.
For the longest time, I'd visit Shade's site and look at this dog. I didn't want to impulsively adopt them, but then recently, I realised that if I was constantly feeling like adopting them, I probably wouldn't regret it. I ended up applying and got her!
Then I changed her to a male for reasons I don't remember. Was it an accident? Did I have something in mind? Who knows.
Today I brought out a bunch of dogs and realised Raffles might end up becoming a grandfather soon. This dog and Hermit (Raffles's youngest daughter in my game, second youngest overall) were flirting a lot. He didn't seem to mind her chicken hat.
I was right! Like 10 minutes later, I got the heart pop up.
Unfortunately, his name is "FBDog17Jun17". I was going to change it to something nicer but it always takes me forever to pick names, because I'm bad at names AND I like to get to know the petz I adopt before I name them. I hope that I can come up with something ASAP and hope that the baby will have the new name on their family tree.
Meanwhile, the dynamics between Raffles's various family members keep changing. Seaglass and Hermit used to get along pretty well but these days they tend to fight sometimes. Specifically, Hermit tends to make an angry face until Seaglass runs around in fear.
Seaglass now seems a bit weirded out by her sister's pregnant walk.

Since there's a new puppy in the family, I decided to take the opportunity to raise some puppies together.
These are: Spirit, Garfunkel, and Clementine. Spirit and Garfunkel were Halloween pets and I'm excited to raise them naturally! Clementine is an ADK Dachie, I downloaded the breedfile just to try it after frantastic told me about it on RKC. I love Clementine already!
It's funny -- for someone who loves grey/black/white pets, I seem to have a ton of orange ones these days. Halloween definitely didn't help. I'm not complaining, though!
It seems like all of them like the watering can.
None of them seemed very interesting in playing and I don't know why. Garfunkel initially hogged the ball and Clementine was angry at him. In the picture above, Spirit took an opportunity to get the ball for himself.
Clementine ended up in a pretty bad mood. She began to bully Spirit, so I gave her a time out.
Garfunkel also ended up being angry for some reason.
He too decided to be mean to Spirit I put him away so poor Spirit could play with his ball in peace.
Meanwhile, Hermit's baby was born! I named her Dandelion.
Her dad is now named Ollie. Not a great name but it was what I could come up with on such short notice!
I messed up AGAIN. I forgot that previewing the baby at an older age using petza would make you unable to age them down to a newborn. So, er, Dandelion is 6 now.
Fortunately, Hermit didn't seem to mind and did a little happy dance. I guess I don't mind either -- I wanted to raise Dandelion as naturally as possible but it's always a bit boring until they come out on their own, because both baby and mother won't play much.
I tried to introduce them to Spirit. While Hermit seemed to like him a lot, Dandelion spent most of the time sniffing the floor.
I decided to give Rain and Cloud some mother-daughter time. Rain finally showed some interest in the frisbee and managed to catch it!
Cloud was mostly interested in randomly falling asleep, even though Rain kept trying to challenge her to play.
Meanwhile, I've introduced the whole family to the baby! Raffles managed to tackle her and (unfortunately) I didn't get a picture. I just loved Scruffy's reaction, though, she seemed very attentive to her great-grandkid!
Caro looking at her grandchild was super cute as well.
I recently got this dog from frantastic on PUGS. I've been trying to figure out what to do with him -- I'm not sure if the current puppy group will hold together or if I'll have to split them, and in that case, I might age him down to raise him. Or I might keep him as an adult. Decisions, decisions.
I did try to dress him up. He hated the clothes he tried and at one point decided to ~dramatically flop~
Meanwhile, Scrampus has not only been chasing some titles, she also made a new friend.
This is Offal, one of the Halloween pets I got from Bard (the others will probably make an appearance soon). She's got an alley personality and is absolutely terrifying.
As you might expect, they've hit it off... but also haven't. They were angry at each other today.

Ohh Raffles and Seaglass especially are so cute!! I love that she came out looking so much like dad, but CHUNKY, and that they're all the same color, so some pictures they look like orange blobs holding something, it's so cute!! It also makes me so happy to see one of the pulldogs in his home ^V^ I hope you enjoy playing with him.
Clementine is also a sweetheart... I love Sangsang's specks but there's something so charming about the one-color-look! And it's nice to see her, I feel kind of like a godmother XD

frantastic you have no idea. Another of Raffles's kids, Hermit, has the same colour. it's so hard to tell them apart in pictures sometimes... or to take pictures where they're all standing close to each other because yep, it's a whole orange blob. I usually try to use accessories to tell them apart more quickly but it's harder when I remove them (for show pictures, for example). That bully has so much personality! I can't wait to play with him more as well. I'm not usually a big fan of the breed but he just looked so fun and I HAD to get him. Sangsang is definitely super unique, I'd love to see more of his adventures! And yeah, you're like a godmother to Clementine because I wouldn't ended up getting her if I you hadn't told me about that file. --- I might update again later today when I bring everyone out, but I need to share one of the cutest things that's happened in my game. Raffles and Scrampus are like unofficial ambassadors. They always welcome new arrivals to my game. This is usually not super noteworthy. Then I introduced Raffles to Clementine.
All their interactions were adorable. She kept trying to groom Raffles and vice-versa. She kept following him around and would imitate everything he did -- at one point he was just scratching his back leg and she decided she had to do the same thing.
Apparently, this is common when adult petz meet babies, but it doesn't happen in my game a lot and I didn't know it could happen with unrelated pets. I've now decided that Clementine is an adoptive member of Raffles's family.
Raffles watching over her when she fell asleep.
I obviously had to introduce her to the rest of the family. Caro was really nice to her, Clementine tried to groom Caro, and they seemed to be hitting it off.
(That white thing on Clementine's head is her eyeball. It's file's one horifying quirk. If the creator gives me permission to brex Clementine, I'll try to fix that.)
Caro really wanted to play with the frisbee and Clementine joined in. It was all very fun.
That is, until I sent Caro back into the case and Clementine did that happy wave. Wow. That's stone cold.
Meeting Cloud was not very excited. Cloud greeted her and then promptly fell asleep.
Seaglass wanted to play with the frisbee as well (and even kind of ignored her new adoptive sister, lol). It turns out Clementine is weirdly good at jumping long distances to catch it?? I wonder if that's a Dachie thing -- Lobo is partially Dachie and he seems to levitate to the frisbee a lot, too.
Her meeting with Rain was very sad... for Rain. Rain kept trying to give her toys and would pile them up near Clementine but Clementine didn't seem to want to play. Not even with Rain's favourite tug toy.
Colementine also seems to get easily jealous if I pet another dog. I had no idea dogz could do this.

An update! And it's not at all what I expected. I hate Clementine now! She's awful! She's so cute but her personality is an actual nightmare.
Since she and Raffles had gotten along so well, I had them play together today.
Once again, she kept trying to imitate everything he did and it was very cute and all.
When I sent Raffles away, she did that mean wave thing.
People strongly overuse the word "fake" but this is a situation where it's definitely applicable. She's super fake. She'll act nice to other dogs and like she doesn't just tolerate them but actually love them, and then does THIS.
It was even worse when I tried to bring out the puppy group to play together. She didn't even bother pretending to like them.
The wave, again.
At one point, she actually decided to start chasing one of the other dogs around for the horrible crime of just existing.
She's like that one kid we all used to know who was mean af to their peers but sucked up to adults. SMH.
There is only one rule in my game. That rule is: do not disrespect Raffles. That includes being mean to him behind his back. Raffles is a PERFECT ANGEL who can do no wrong. At least have the courage to fight him to his face, you little orange caterpillar!!
I've considered returning her/deleting her/editing her personality, but I might put her in a group with my "intractable pets I actually love" even though she is an actual thorn in my actual heart.

Ahh they're all perfect though! And it's really neat that Seaglass and Hermit have the same color scheme and the same thin face, but look very different otherwise. I won't lie, Seaglass is definitely my favorite. She's so perfect with the little ears, the chunky body, and the small paws! This picture of her: is just perfect TwT) I wouldn't mind knowing if you ever breed her or if Raffles has another kid that looks like her.... ┬┴┬┴┤・ω・`) Also, I am laughing about Clementine! I think it's so amazing that she has so much personality - and hilarious that it's such a bad one, hahah! Sometimes you just don't click with a pet, I guess. Maybe you could try for another ADK Dachie, see if they're a bit politer? XD I think your Raffles rule is really cute (Raffles deserves it! He's adorable.) And it's a bit funny to me - I love Siameses and Poodles, stuck-up, stubborn, arrogant petz all of them. If one of my poodles did that wave thing, I'd probably laugh and go, 'that's so on brand' XD I didn't know about the wave thing at all! Or about young dogz mirroring adults! That's so cute, I hope I see it in my game soon ^v^

frantastic : I love Seaglass too! I won't be breeding Raffles and if I breed her it'll be just for 1-2 kids to keep the lineage going, but you're not the first person to ask me about Raffles and his family... so I might eventually make some clones and breed those so people can have these wacky orange dogs in their game I actually love Clementine and I'm really hoping she'll become a bit nicer with age. It's funny, my favourite default breed/personality are Alleys but I love how non-nonsense they are xD Yeah, the wave thing is something petz do when you put away a pet they hate! It's usually hilarious xD --- I'm feeling really sick today so I probably won't do much petzing and it might take me a bit to catch up with messages, other people's threads, etc.. If I forget something, please let me know. As I mentioned in my previous post, I've got some pets I love but have very intense personalities. Of course, this usually means they're aggressive to other pets and finnicky about who they get along with -- as opposed to pretending to be nice to some of them while not-so-secretely hating everyone.
This is Offal. She's a hexie I got for Halloween and I absolutely love her. She's got an Alley personality and usually that's not a big issue in my game but she's a bit extra aggressive?
There's also this threatening orange dog I got from meowlissa this summer. She still doesn't have a name because I'm bad at names.
That's right, bow before your cryptid queen.
While Clementine kept a respectful distance from Offal, Big Orange Dog was more foolish and they fought a couple of times.
Offal won both times, of course. Creepily enough, the dog just kept lying there, motionless. The second time, Offal even took the time to stand on her lifeless body and knead. As one does.
Bizarrely, Clementine seemed to be sad when I put away her friends. Progress! She seems to especially like Offal, so here's a picture of the two of them.
I then decided to have the puppy group play dress up.
Garfunkel pretty much just picked some pants and the Viking hat.
Spirit decided to wear pants and a blue bow collar.
Dandelion (I'll post about her progress soon!) picked a shirt, a green bow collar, and bunny years.
Clementine is wearing a pig hat, an eye patch, and white bow collar. The eye patch suits her!
I then decided to have them play football (soccer). Team Yellow was Dandelion and Spirit, since they seem to get along.
Garfunkel is prone to bullying Spirit and Clementine is prone to bullying everyone, so they were a team.
The match was a real mess, with fighting, random naps, play wrestling, and getting generally distracted. Team Yellow won because Spirit managed to score a couple of goals, though my favourite moment was when he held the ball for a few seconds and immediately dropped it in the middle of the field.
I'm probably going to split the puppy group. The next update will probably be about Dandelion and the new groups.
