I was looking at my old thread and at the first pages of this one and remembered
✬MsWildiful✬ 's temperament test thing (mentioned a few pages back). I decided to try it again, this time with the now-fully-grown puppy group, and I'll be testing some others. I skipped the treat ball task because I might place meowlissa's puzzle box in my game again. I also think in the future I'll skip the toy/food possession tasks since they don't have super varied results, aha.
Tim Tim was first. She was not possessive about her toy at all.
Also no food possession, she mostly just looked sad when I picked up the bowl
She decided to sit like this after she was done eating.
Meeting a cat went ok, I guess. Cinnamon the bunny-cat seemed to bother her a bit.
She had to lie down for a bit afterwards.
She came when called but she didn't seem inclined to pose. She wasn't too scared of the camera, she just prefered to ask for pets and goof off.
The pumpkin didn't make her panic, but she was definitely wary of it.
She was a bit puzzled by the fish.
She loves the watering can and isn't afraid of it at all.
Playing with toys: ball. She enjoyed playing fetch with it
She was a bit less interested in the tug toy, which mostly just seemed to baffle her.
She caught the frisbee!
Next up, was Spirit, who turned out to be hilarious.
Toy possessiveness: YES x100000
He mostly just looked sad when I picked up the food.
Coming when called: yeah, though he stopped at a small distance from the cursor and stared at... something. Not sure what.
He tried to ignore the cat.
Except Cinnamon was constantly sneaking up on him and tackling him.
For some weird reason, he got the pumpkin stuck in his mouth? He picked it up and moved around and stuff but it stayed in his mouth. He looked kind of worried about it.
Fortunately, the pumpkin made a noise, and that gave him the impetus he needed to escape.
He was ok with the fish, but decided to pick it up and run around with it. Poor fish.
He liked the watering can!
You can't see it, but the ball is behind him.
He decided to try to swat at the ball, and I guess he was angry because it wasn't working? Again, the ball was BEHIND him.
At first, he seemed to think the tug toy was a "jump up at it and hang from it by my teeth" toy.
When he finally got the hang of it, though, he seemed to enjoy it. And yes, he caught the frisbee (after a few tries).
Clementine was NOT pleased that I tried to take her toy.
She was kind of weirded out that I tried to take her food, too.
I initially thought meeting Cinnamon went well! She seemed very happy to meet Cinnamon and actually jumped around happily and everything.
Of course, she actually hated Cinnamon and did that mean wave when she left. I should have guessed it.
She came when called and then this happened.
As startled as she was by the camera, she actually posed as soon as I started the posing task. Pretty impressive.
She was not a fan of the Jack o' Lantern.
She seemed happy about the fish but knowing her, she probably hates its guts.
Of course she liked the watering can.
She played with both the ball and the frisbee but my favourite was her reaction to the tug toy. It might be good for her anger issues.
Garfunkel will NOT let you steal his toys.
He made an annoyed sound and stared sadly at his food when I tried to take it.
Meeting Cinnamon did NOT go well.
He came when called AND started posing as soon as I took the first "posing task" picture. Are these dogs psychic or what
He was really angry at the Jack o' Lantern.
He didn't mind the fish and thought it would be a good gift for me. Thanks, Garfunkel!
His face here is just priceless.
he was a bit confused about the ball at first, but eventually decided to bring it to me. He seems to like bringing me stuff? Cute <3
His reaction to the tug toy: challenging to it play. He also noticed I was taking a picture and decided to do a trick.
The tug toy did not return his play bow, so instead he barked angrily at it.
He tried to catch the frisbee. He failed, but those were good tries!
Dandelion did not appreciate her toys or food being taken.
She met Cinnamon right after eating and... burped right in her face.
Cinnamon was not impressed.
She started chasing Dandelion around, who was terrified.
Dandelion, howling in despair.
She seemed pretty happy when the cat left lol.
She came when called AND posed.
She was handling the Jack o' Lantern pretty well, until it made a noise and she ran off.
I decided to show her the fish, figuring it would be more soothing.
She seems to actually enjoy watching the fish! I've never seen a pet actually do that before.
I forgot she was scared of the watering can omg I'm so sorry
She enjoyed both the tug and the ball. She enjoyed the ball so much she was still holding when she tried to catch the frisbee, lol.
That's all for now!
