So yeah, hi! I'm TigerAnne, and I'm a newbie here. I only just joined two days ago. It's early, but I thought I'd start a thread for my petz. Since I don't have that many yet, it'll be easier to follow too, I guess.
Hunny Bee was my first pet, this time around. I adopted her from the AC on the 17th of July, so she's only a little over two weeks old. She's a Scottish Fold - a breed that never really captured my interest before, because they only come in that one colour. However, she was there in the AC garden when I opened the game for the first time. Something about her reminded me of a real cat I used to have, a red and white Persian mix. I named her Hunny Bee because of her honeyish coat.
I figured my little girl needed a friend, so Daisy was adopted into the crew. You can't go wrong with a friendly little Calico. Or so I thought!
For a day or so, things were golden. They played together with their toys, and slept in a heap on the floor. Then Bee started picking on Daisy. She'd randomly jump her and start real fights, of the "furball of violence" type. This wasn't working, they needed new and better friends.
Enter Moon and Sadie. Moon was named after a Maine Coon I had years ago, when I first played Petz. I think I still have the original on an ancient computer that sits collecting dust in a downstairs room. Sadie the Tabby was originally intended to be Daisy's new BFF, but Daisy beat her up (for real). They mostly hang out in the pairs you see in the pictures.
Moon is a trickster, and she fetches. Sadie seems to have the strongest hunting instinct of my current catz. They all occasionally fetch, and Bee tries to balance on everything. How do I not have pictures of it? x(
I wasn't going to have dogz yet, but I couldn't resist these two. The Dalmatian is Akini. I named her after a zebra who was born in my Planet Zoo game, because she's also white and black and I'm bad at naming. The Border Collie is Katrina, known as Trinnie.
They get along okay.
Akini's been only mildly interested in frisbees and things that fly. Balls seem to be her jam, and she loves the bug barn.
Trinnie's fairly good at frisbee for such a little bean. I adopted her and Akini four days ago, and the pictures are from their first or second day. She's sweet and fluffy, and doesn't seem to be any kind of trouble maker.
They play toss, which I've read is a sign that petz really like each other.
The mostly-adult catz have taken the introduction of puppies pretty well. Daisy was a bit rude to Trinnie at first, but no actual violence came out of it. Moon seemed to really like Trinnie. It's hard to see in the pic, but Moon was grooming her, and Trinnie was shaking her leg like they do when you pet or brush them.
A game of soccer with the pig ended in a brawl between the two teams. Little hooligans....
There were complaints that the referee was partial.
I grew some carrots for the bunny, but I think Sadie ate more of them than anyone else. She may be like one of my real cats, who had the munchies for certain types of veg, carrots not included. He also loved chewing on the wiring, and was generally weird.
I've got more pics, but moderation, etc. Hope I didn't bore you too much!
