So remember when I said some old friends are coming back home? Here's three of them: Moon, Bee and Sadie. They've been on a long, restful vacay in the desert(!) and are ready to return to the regular bedlam of home.
But who are the little ones?
The little striped kiddo is Shea, and the solid dust-coloured sibling is Paddy. They're half RB, half Desert Lynx, bred with Gyiyg's DL overwrite. I adopted them from my friend Sam. Yes, the same friend who gave me Meredith and Whitney. She said she hopes these two will be a more positive addition. (M&W have been very nice after I fixed their attitude problems, though. Whitney was mostly nice all the time.)
"Hey, guys! We gotta get going soon. We're going home today, remember?"
"Now, remember to behave yourself, and be polite to the people you'll meet at your new home. Even the dogz."
"Are any of the people here like Uncle Winston?"
"Mostly not, but there's Daisy and she's...."
"Sssssh, someone's coming."
"Um, hi. My name's Lucas. You must be new here."
"No, boy. You must be new here. I've lived here before!"
"OMGOSH are you seeing this?! There's a fake Tabby living here now!"
Lucas and Oliver both were captivated by the beauty of Moon's floofy fur and regal stature. I hope their friendship won't suffer because of it.
"This neighbourhood has gone to the dogz, Bee!"
"We gotta give them a chance to explain themselves, though."
"WE DON'T TOLERATE IMPOSTERS HERE!"
"DUDE, lady! You only just arrived!"
And so there was a short-lived sequel to Fight Club, like a cancelled TV spin-off that only had a pilot produced.
"I don't know any of them, and have never seen them before."
Paddy reacted to all the drama by letting go of his consciousness. His sister Claire, who looks just like him minus a tail, does the same thing.
Moon and Oliver got very cozy.
Sadie saw a scary ghostly paw coming out of the electric socket.
They'll settle in fine.
And so there was a sleepover.
With the catz all knackered, it was the puppies' time to get rid of some extra energy. Uh, Baines.... I know she's your girlfriend, but staring at her booty in public is still rude.
Possibly Baines' fifth ever frisbee catch! He's way better than either of the Dalis, Storm and Casey. Yeah, okay. The last two don't even bother trying, most of the time.
Ellie's got some real talent, though.
Puppyhood pictures, to remember how small they were. Tobie's that childhood friend who's just part of the family, so they're in all your pictures.
Oh, and we should have a picture of the beautiful Malika. There.
She managed to look good in the group pic, at least.
Long Boi.
I had the adults dogz out by themselves for a bit, to just hang out without kids.
Double catch? Wow. Never mind Willfred, he's just a derp.
"Oh no, a stupid puppy washed up! He looks like Alfie!"
I think this is a confirmed catch for Storm!? He's still behind Baines by four, though. x)
The Wilkinz had some family time in the backyard. Any time together is quality time, right?
AND THEN THESE TWO STARTED LOOKING AT EACH OTHER LIKE THIS! No no nope, that's not accepted! Thank goodness they're on birth control!
Off to the beach with y'allz to pursue healthy activities.
Like watching the clouds with dad.
You. Are.
Siblings!"I don't know those people."
"Who are you even talking about?"
"Dunno. Was I talking about anyone?"
"No."
And this, kids, is why you spay and neuter your family members.
I mean
pets. I think.
No, Charlie. I don't think Bunny is a wererabbit.
Awwww, he and Frances were happy to see each other.
And possibly to see new potential members of their Fortean research team.
They took the Irish lads to the field for a mutant hunting try-out.
Oops, they failed.
:C Fortunately, they have experts(?!!) training them in the art.
I try not to have favourites, but Frances is one of them. Sssssh.
Oh Paddy.... His mom, Lucy, is also notable for twisting herself into pretzels (
petzels?) like this. And everyone says the RBs pose best of all!
Bagging mutants all morning is tiring.
Next group out was the dogz that are not part of the Willkins family.
Aww, Tobie. I wuv him.
Malika must have been in an exceptionally great mood, because she joined in the game. I don't think she actually caught the one she's holding, but she didn't bury it so there's that.
LOL but I think I need to feed Storm more often! And possibly worm him.
Baines exists. He just wasn't pictured doing anything interesting on this trip.
With the girls back home, and the boys mostly grown up, it was time for a mingle-meet. There was some chemistry between Oliver and Moon, but she also seems to like Lucas. Bee and Sadie mostly hung out together, and disapproved of everyone.
The Persian-Honeybear sisters became fully grown around this time. Meredith isn't small, but Whitney is basically a medium woolly mammoth.
"They're all crazy here."
"I did not hurk this hairball."
Wow! Meredith has become civilised enough that she can sit down and have meowled conversations with new acquantainces. Maybe she'll eventually move into "making friends" levels of agreeable.
"Percy,
really!"Oh yeah. The behavioural corrections is a job never finished.
Then Percy and Meredith had a wrestle, for once without spilling each other's blood.
Later they went to the safe beach, to chase auto-rolling balls. I love how it looks like Frances has some seriously huge, blunt and yellow fangs. She'd love to have fangz, of course, but shiny white ones that are so sharp you can
hear how sharp they are!
Fun was experienced!
Paddy was his mother's son.
And eventually Meredith and Whitney fell asleep while floating on their backs in the water. It must be a very nice, warm temperature since they enjoy splashing and submerging in it so much.
The whole gang came home, and almost fell over on the lawn. Shea, don't play with someone's hairball! Gross.
Aww, all lined up.
Most of my catz are such big floofs, Paddy looks like a right little runt between them. x)
Don't worry, Frances. You'll catch a cryptid one day!
Good night, and thanks for reading!
