It's been a while since the last chapter, so let's refresh our collective memory.
We left off here, with two new fox kits having just arrived. From top left, clockwise, we have Ronan, Allyn, Floria and Mick.
Allyn is female, and she's named after a Garden Club NPC in Sims 2, who I once married to the founder of my first Prettacy challenge. Poor Allyn Thomason, she had a hard life as the wife of an impoverished mountain troll. Mick is a little male kit, and his name comes from a local nick-name for foxes in my country.
Everything was set for an awkward meet-and-greet. Oh, and yes. That is a little Siamese kitten in the left corner, and you haven't seen him before. His name is Thomas.
I figured it was safest to let them get used to each other around auto-balls, which are effective at redirecting murderous impulses away from other petz. And you're absolutely correct, there's another new little Meezer here. That's Selena. She and Thomas will be one of three (at least) founding pairs for a PFM purebred lineage I'll be attempting some time. TinTin and Tim are one of the others. I put gyiyg's Sophisto overwrite in my Petz 4 game for some variety. Thanks again, gyiyg , it's very cute!
"What game are we even playing?"
"Calvinball?"
"The referee is bent!"
"Playing with no rules is NOT FAIR!"
"Yeah! Everyone just cheats."
Maeve was still salty about her team's lack of clear victory later, when the dogz went to the perilous beach.
Casey plopped down to sunbathe, and try to block out any sensations of frisbee being played around him.
It was a good day for individual pictures, anyhow.
Yeah, I don't know what's going on with Casey's face here, but he looks like some kind of St Bernhard.
There was wrestling, cloud-gazing, and Darcy snacked on some food that mysteriously washed up from the ocean. If Charlie had been there, he'd say that it was the Kraken leaving bait out. Luckily, Darcy did not get either eaten nor food poisoned.
She played catch with Brody, while Riona had the zoomies.
"It wasn't me!"
"What wasn't you?"
"....nothing?"
Fun was had, and everyone got very tired.
Ricka was very hungry, until she suddenly wasn't. It happens.
Riona spent some time with her maybe-friend Birdie, and struck this wonderful pose. BTW, she'll start looking notably less "busty" soon, because I did some editing on her and Casey to make them more proportionate. While I was at it, I also gave the Oshies room for lungs in their chests.
These were the next few pics in the folder, presented with no commentary.
Rowen loved Cousin Maurice, so hopefully he'll be back some time soon. Wilbur hasn't disappeared, he just needs a break now and then, and the game sends this guy in his place. Apparently this chappy's also named Wilbur. I really want to change his name to be Maurice for real, but I'm scared of breaking the game.
The next day the puppies went to the beach, without adult supervision. (PSA: Being an adult does not give you super vision. It's false adverticement.)
Nothing much out of the ordinary happened, but they seemed to have a good time.
Akini is still queen of all grace.
In the back yard, Rowen and Jaxon were being aptitude tested for a career in cryptid hunting.
Over at the neighbours' place, Selena was giving her new baby-sitters gray hairs.
Thomas was feeling dramatic.
Akini and Willfred's three pups, and their slightly older friends, were enjoying their late teenage days.
On the safe beach it was Beat-Up-Paddy Day. Rowen brought his own salt, apparently. *sigh* (Opens hex editor....)
Thomas and Ronan had a similar row in the neighbouring window. Ronan sought comfort from his friend Floria.
It's also possible that Thomas and Mick don't get along. BRB; attidude adjustment.
The P4 dogz broadened their horizon by going to another beach for a change.
Nearby, some of our old friends were hanging out.
Charlie was very happy to see that his buddy Sadie was back in town for a bit. Frances, on the other hand, was not so happy to see how happy Charlie was. Maybe she was feeling jealous.
Whatever it was, it led to a furball of fury, starring Sadie and her.
The brawl went on for so long that I had time to take a screenshot, paste it into an editor, crop it and go back and take another. I don't know who won, but attitudes were adjusted!
Whether or not that had anything to do with the dogz choosing to go back to their usual hangout isn't known.
Tune in again soon, for pictures with very pretty background!
