Banner by nebula ☃️ Starting on September 22nd (the first day of Fall 🍂) and ending on October 31st (Halloween 🎃), Duke's Group will be hosting its first Fall Festival! You can participate in the event by setting up a booth for people to visit and/or by visiting other user's booths to get treatz/play games. To Set Up a BoothAny DG member can make a booth-- you just post a thread on the Fall Festival board! You will be responsible for maintaining your booth during the length of the event. You can set your booth up any time between the start and end date. Need some ideas for your booth?* - Treatz (bred petz, hexed petz, toyz, stamps, etc)
- Swaps / trades
- Mystery grab bags
- Contests
- Games
- Raising tasks / gameplay challenges
- Puzzles
*You are not limited to just these ideas. Feel free to get creative! The event will run sort of similar to last year's Halloween event. Fall Festival VisitorsTo visit a booth, simply click on a thread in the Fall Festival board and read the rules of the booth. There might be instructions for how to play a game, download a treat, etc. Every booth will be different so be sure to read about each booth! And please be respectful & patient towards all the members who took time to set up their booths! This event wouldn't be fun without their effort 👏👏 Happy Fall 🍂 and have fun!

FAQ
Oh no, I missed the start date (Sept 22nd)... can I still set up a booth even though its several weeks into the festival? Of course! If you think you'll have time to host your booth before Oct 31st, you can open a booth at any time!
My booth event is over/won... what do I do now? If you need to close a booth early, just write CLOSED on the title and an admin can lock the thread if needed.
Do I need to make a booth in order to visit other booths? Nope. You can simply be a visitor to this festival!
Can I create more than one booth? At this time, yes! If you need to/want to, feel free to open a new thread!

It's like halfway (? right?) through the Fall Festival! I was curious of your opinions on how the event is going so far!
I'm starting to think that maybe allowing people to make multiple "booths" was a good idea to suggest?
Loving everything about ya'll have done so far and thank you for your hard work :)

I think its going great and am personally having lots of fun!
As for multiple booths, I suppose I don't see an issue if someone wants to - but I also don't find how things are arranged now to be very confusing?

So would it be okay to allow people who want to open another booth to help ease things if they want be something someone would want to use? Or is this just "next year's musing"?

I think its ok to do so this year! Especially if someone wants to split their booth up right now or start a new game or whatever.

I have had a literal notebook open each time I log on just to track each event in each booth- what is changing, what is running the whole time, etc.
It is a bit overwhelming hahaha. Especially tracking points per person per event.
Maybe next year we have a unified prize pool or standard prize points for the whole festival? Idk if that is easier cause I do like the variety and everyone doing their own but I’m having trouble tracking where I even am sometimes lol

I'm gonna second Dew actually, I have written down a lot of the events going on to try to keep track as well. I'm a bit scatterbrained so I find it difficult to remember exactly what's going on and what I still have to do / want to participate in. Not saying that I'm not having fun - because I think the event is really fun and I'm enjoying what everyone has to offer! But yeah for me personally it's sometimes hard for me to keep track of everything. There are still some activities I haven't even done yet that I still want to do but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I kinda like the idea of having one larger prize pool thing at the end, where maybe everyone could contribute something to (and the final prizes could work similarly to how the Easter Egg Hunt worked earlier this year?) I'm not sure how exactly it would work though.
I personally feel like if people had multiple booths it would maybe make things more confusing for me... tbh I already sometimes get some of the booths confused with each other. I know for others it's not a problem but I think I would get overwhelmed myself ;; Perhaps if they closed the other booth first? But I don't think that's what's being suggested.

^ maybe there could be a standard way of labeling if there are multiples, like Dew - MP - Name of Game
MP = multiple plays SP = single play
Etc. Not necessarily THIS but something so you can track which events are restocked or play once or what ho
