Another set of stamps to collect, from me! (dunno if anyone saw me post these a couple days ago, hopefully I'll stay happy with them now lol) I went with calendar dates and going for the look of a tearaway calendar on your kitchen fridge Save only the dates you resist adopting anything, even if it isn't every day, and see how many you've collected at the end! And this special all-gold one will be for anyone who does actually make it the full 26* days :O (in addition to Dew's prize!)

Those are all Saturdays and Sundays. Maybe the weekends are trickier to not adopt XD

Yep those are just weekends! It seems like some calendars do that. I thought maybe it'll help people visualize how many weeks have passed, like how today is still in the first week even though it feels like 500 years...... xD

Okay, I am interested in trying this since I have a lot of petz to sort anyway and would rather not add too many more right now, but I'm going to be a pain and ask some questions to clarify a few things. (Sorry ;; )
1) So I have like... a folder of Petz I've adopted (from before the date you mentioned) that I've been going through and taking pictures of to add them to my crew page and move ones I'm keeping to my storage folder (since some are from grab bags, I'm not necessarily keeping them all that's why I'm sorting through them). So do these petz not count then since I already adopted them before the date, or do they still count since some I haven't opened in my game yet? Am I still allowed to sort through these petz (and not be disqualified) as long as I don't adopt any petz after the date and whatnot? 2) "no .pet files to call your own" - so this means we can still breed or make hexes EXCLUSIVELY for others / to adopt out, we just can't keep any for ourselves right? (Wanted to make sure since I was thinking of making a litter for the DG Advent Calender and I don't know if breeding or hexing for this would disqualify me even if I'm not actually keeping them?) 3) Does the holdbacks thing mean specifically for petz you breed that you want to keep or something? Or is it specifically for breeding stock and not actual crew petz? (I don't tend to keep petz I breed with PetzA anyway, just wanted to make sure)
4) Also what happens if your petz breed randomly (not with PetzA) do you just not play with the mother then until December? (This doesn't usually happen without me expecting it but idk, just in case) 5) If you get a gift from someone are you not allowed to open it in LNZ Pro at all (and just not actually take it in the game) or does that still count? Okay sorry for all the questions but I just want to make sure I understand what would disqualify me and what wouldn't and if it would work for me to join or not ;;
Since Emmer is the original think tank behind this, I’d love to see what they would rule on this? I can edit the original posting with rule updates based on the final say! Emmer Sorry, I'm just getting to reply to this now, but hopefully this helps. My original intent for No Adopt November was to encourage people to focus more on what they already had (in the states, Thanksgiving is in November, so it sort of goes with that "be thankful" thing too) and also have a break of taking in "new" stuff and really take time to sort and appreciate what you have. 1) Folders you've been going through and taking pictures of and moving around, adopting out, etc. all of that is GREAT - as long as they were all already on your computer prior to November. Pull them out, enjoy them, organize them, get them on that site you've been saying you'll update since...forever. 2) You can make hexies and breed as long as you aren't keeping them for yourself, correct. If you are breeding litters and you (for example) breed two dogs and get a puppy that you simply can't part with, that would go in your December 1 folder and count toward one of your 10. If you are just playing with your own dogs, you can have male/female dogs out, but not with the intention of making offspring (ie. no perfume and not going, gee, I wish I had a kitten!) and no PetzA unless for petz for adoption. 3) Petz for hold back are as mentioned above. Petz you already have in your folders you can keep, as mentioned. If you happen to be sent a pet as a gift, they also go into your December 1 folder. 4) If they breed on their own (not intentionally/with PetzA), you can choose to keep the offspring, but put it in the December 1 folder as one of your 10 OR you can choose to adopt/sell/gift it out. 5) I'm kind of going to be mean here and say that you probably *shouldn't* open in LNZ Pro in the nature of it - pretend that file doesn't exist until December 1.

EmmerThank you so much for the explanation and sorry for so many questions haha. That makes sense to me. And don't worry I kinda get the thing with not opening in LNZ pro because it sort of adds to the surprise too. That works well for me, participating in this because it gives me time to catch up with updating my crew and not worrying so much about adopting more petz and constantly feeling as if I'm behind!
