I'm going to start this thread for the petz I'm raising now so that I don't get too much further behind. I'll post about the other petz I've naturally raised over the last two years once I sort through all the pictures I took of them. For now, I'm just going to do a bunch of posts for each day I've been raising petz for the Winter Olympics. I'll try to play and post every day, but sometimes I get busy so that won't always be possible. The other threads I'll be making about my naturally raised petz from before this year probably won't be as detailed since it's hard to remember exactly what I did since usually I only have the pictures to go by, but I'll try my best. ^^
I have been aging up my petz by only 3 on the age slider each day, so you'll notice my petz will age more slowly than normal. (I think petz become adults way too fast and aging them this way allows me to enjoy their puppy/kitten stage just a little while longer.) I'm still trying to come up with a consistent way to naturally raise them so that they're introduced to all/most of the original scenes/toyz by the time they're fully grown. Right now I usually pick a playscene to let them play in until they get hungry, go to the kitchen where I let them pick what they want to eat, go to another scene where they usually fall asleep soon after, and then I exit the game for the day. I'd like to set up some kind of schedule to vary the scenes more so I know I'm giving them a good variety of things to do. I also really like some ideas I've seen here (MsWildiful's temperament tests and bex @ Hollymoor's training stuff come to mind), and I'd like to incorporate similar things in the future to get to know my petz better. If I remember to do so, I also want to post a pet's personality info and favorites once they're fully grown - I want to try to guess what these are while they're still growing and see how close I get to the correct answers.
Comments welcome! ^^

The first pet I've been naturally raising this year is Hyacinth, hexed by Pinto and adopted from the Whiskerwick Advent Calendar. January 8th
So if I remember correctly, after you adopt a pet from the Adoption Center in Petz II, your pet arrives in the playpen inside the basket. I kind of want to duplicate that experience by putting the puppy/kitten I'm naturally raising in the basket in the family room and seeing what they do next. =3 Hyacinth looked around the family room for a second before quickly jumping out of the basket. He's clumsy (like all puppies) and is quite reactive to the camera - he especially likes posing and doing tricks, but sometimes the camera startles him. He enjoys grooming himself when he's bored. He's also pretty affectionate and likes to nuzzle the hand. He seemed most interested in the yellow cat dancer, fish food, leprechaun, and yarn ball. He played fetch with the yarn ball a lot, but he was also content to just chew on things. He also danced to the music box. As soon as he got hungry, we went to the kitchen. When I opened the fridge door, he wanted to eat from the green cat food bowl. He must have a big appetite because he ended up eating all of it. =P Hyacinth has already made two friends! He got along well with both Cuddles and Cobalt. He also loved dressing up for the Winter Olympics!

January 9
I took Hyacinth out to the snowy backyard. He was curious and checked out a bunch of the toyz that were out there. He wanted to play with the frisbee at first but couldn't catch it. We then played fetch with the stick.
Cuddles came out to play and immediately wanted some hot soup. It wasn't very filling, so we went to the kitchen to get some kibble. Hyacinth ate from the green cat food bowl again. This time he also checked out a few of the other bowls that I took out and decided to try some of the leftovers too.
Cuddles and Hyacinth continue to get along well. Cuddles attempted to show Hyacinth how to do a backflip, but Hyacinth couldn't quite grasp such an advanced trick. Cuddles did however teach Hyacinth how to succesfully do a high jump. ^^

I tried to get Hyacinth to jump through the hoop, but all he wanted to do was swat at it. -_-
He wanted the gingerbread treats off the fence, so I trained him to do the high jump trick Cuddles had taught him yesterday. He doesn't do the high jump consistently yet, so I'm thinking his intelligence level probably isn't the greatest.
He only seemed to want to play fetch with the stick, but I got him to play with the tug toy for a little while. (He soon went right back to the stick though).
Cuddles came out, so I tried to see if he could teach Hyacinth how to jump through the hoop, but Hyacinth decided to take a nap instead.
They both fell asleep in the snow after that, so I decided to get them dressed up in some WinOly gear so they'd be more comfortable.
I took them to the kitchen to eat, and Hyacinth chose to eat out of the blue dog food bowl today.
Then we went back outside where they played fetch with the rubber snow ball.

January 11
Hyacinth came out sick today, so I gave him some medicine in his food to cure him right away. His barks are also getting deeper now that he's getting older.
We then went to the snow scene where he tried out the sled.
We played fetch with the rubber snow ball. He's still as clumsy as ever, though I did catch him doing a somersault today. ^^
He liked having snowballs thrown at him. xD
Cuddles came out and rode on the sled a lot. Hyacinth kept drinking from the soup mug, so we went to the kitchen to satisfy his hunger.
Hyacinth wanted to try the cheese bowl today.
Cuddles taught Hyacinth how to chase his tail. xP
Then we went to the family room where Hyacinth cozied up by the fire. I set him on a pillow where he curled up and fell asleep.

January 12
Hyacinth played fetch in the family room with the leprechaun to start the day.
Cuddles came out pretty quickly and they played together - including a lot of tossing toys to each other on their noses.
Hyacinth danced a little to the music box (and Cuddles sang). They also wanted to play fetch with the fish food for some reason.
I took them to the kitchen to eat. Hyacinth ate from the red cat food bowl today, then begged from Cuddles who was eating from the blue dog food bowl until he could eat from that as well.
We then went to the Ski Lounge where they played together for a while before curling up next to each other and falling asleep.

January 13
Lately Hyacinth has been nudging his toys a lot. He wanted to play fetch with the Stars Mug in the Snowy Yard.
I tried to get him to jump through the hoop, but he still refuses.
We played fetch with the Rubber Snow Ball for a while. I think he might like the color yellow because I believe this was hexed from the Star Ball and I don't think I changed the color adjective for it yet.
He drank soup from the mug, so we headed to the kitchen where he decided to eat from the Red Cat Food Bowl again. I wanted to try to train him with some treats, but Cuddles came out just as he was finishing eating.
We headed to the Christmas Lounge where they played with some Christmas toys for a few minutes before settling down for a nap on opposite ends of the room.

January 14
Hyacinth is now officially an adult! We spent some time in the kitchen training his down trick with the chicken treats. He isn't terribly consistent but I was able to get him to do this trick three times in a row.
After trick training we went to the beach. Hyacinth investigated some of the new toys and decided he wanted to play with the boomerang.
Cuddles soon came out to play. Hyacinth chewed on the hermit crab for a bit before falling asleep on the beach towel. Cuddles played with the yellow frisbee during Hyacinth's nap.
We went to the kitchen when Cuddles got hungry. Cuddles wanted to eat from the Red Cat Food Bowl, and Hyacinth ended up eating his leftovers (he was still pretty full from the chicken treats from earlier.)
We went to the bathroom to get all of the sand out of their fur. xD Hyacinth spent most of his time exploring a bunch of new toys he hadn't encountered before.
Cuddles jumped in the bath tub on his own while Hyacinth looked on nervously.
Hyacinth jumped in after Cuddles was done. He seemed kind of startled by the whole experience.
Bathing was very exhausting and they both soon fell asleep. ^^

The next pet I'm naturally raising is Cobalt, hexed by JT and Pinto and also adopted from the WW Advent Calendar.
January 15
Cobalt looked around the room for a few seconds while in the basket, and then decided to spend some time goofing off in there. Although it took him awhile to come out, he didn't seem uncomfortable and was just being silly.
I took Cobalt to the snowy yard to explore. He went straight for the gingerbread treats, but Cuddles came out before I could train him to do any tricks.
Cobalt doesn't seem to like Cuddles. He gives him angry eyes a lot and waved when I put Cuddles away.
Cobalt jumped through the hoop right away!
He chased the frisbee for a while but didn't catch it.
I took Hyacinth out to see if they still got along, and they do. They love to wrestle each other (so much so that I decided to put Hyacinth away until Cobalt gets more familiar with his surroundings.)
Cobalt got hungry, so we went to the kitchen. He chose to eat from the Green Cat Food Bowl, and he was also curious about the Blue Dog Food Bowl.
Cobalt seemed tired after all this, so we went to the family room. Almost immediately after we got there, he jumped on the ruby pillow and fell asleep. <3

January 16
I did the WinOly Week 2 hoop challenge with Cobalt, since Hyacinth still refuses to jump through it. Cobalt did 9 jumps in 2 minutes!
I let Cobalt continue getting acclimated to the snowy yard. We played fetch with the stick until he got tired and hungry and started drinking from the star mug.
We went to the kitchen where he wanted to eat from the plate of leftovers. He fell asleep on the floor after he was done eating.
So I took him to the family room where he could rest and then let out Cuddles and Hyacinth. At first they kept waking Cobalt up, but they finally got distracted enough with the music box and yarn ball to let him sleep.
