Wave One, Task One
Introduce your team! Talk about your petz and why you chose them for your team.
My team this year consists of Videodrome, hexed by Tabby (on a base by Bad Death); Teddie, hexed by me; Rivet, hexed by JetRed; and Takanori, hexed by me.
Videodrome was a trade from Tabby. I gave them one of my Tomorrow and Tomorrow Folds, and in return, they gave me a custom retexture of Mortis @ Bad Death's silkhound file (my favorite dog breed irl!). My prompts for them were were 'TV static' and 'raw meat', as those are some of my favorite 'aesthetics' as it were. They chose to combine them; this is where the name Videodrome is from- it's the name of a Cronenberg film heavily featuring TVs and flesh. (It's neat! Check it out! I love that movie!) While taking crew pics, I was endeared to him by some behavior or another- I believe his food aggression; it's a lot cuter in games than IRL lol- so I tucked him in my 'raise later' folder, and well, it seems that later is now!
Teddie is a custom from my housecat hex file. He's based off of my real life cat, who is my soulmate and the worst living creature on earth lol. I really, really miss him when I'm on vacation, and I'm going on one soon, so I wanted to make a little digi-Teddie to have around when I can't hang out with the real one. I naturally raised the hexies based off two of my other IRL cats, Jimmy and Ianto (yes I will make Olive at some point, she's just a bit more complicated than a black cat and a couple tabbies lol), so he also went in the 'raise later' folder. Tbh that's kinda just a theme here ... I didn't pick this team out for SumOly, they were just ones I wanted to raise at some point anyway.
Rivet was JetRed's first hexing venture, a surprise gift for me after I gave him a hexie as a near-freebie (just needing an application, but in other circumstances I'd have retired a trade). He's brexed off of a 2nd gen meezer-oshie mix, which is easier to see when he's not all scrunched up- he's got that big oshie butt, hehe. Since there was already some sentiment attached, I wanted to naturally raise him- plus, I like how needy he is lol; he hates to be left alone for even a little bit, and in addition to his angry-posing when I dare to touch his food, I found from just one play session that he has a lot of personality. Sooo here we are!
 Takanori was bred for my ill-fated grab bag subscription service which i think i forgot to announce the end of ... ope and was later retrieved from my grab bag folder to be put in my crew for Tea's Petz Book Bingo on WhiskerWick. He's named after one of the characters from Es by Koji Suzuki, the book I read for it. Because he seemed 'special' as opposed to a cat I got 'just because', I wanted to hand-raise him at some point. I love how Sturdy™️he is with his Maine Coon body. I haven't played a whoooole lot with him, or at least I don't have any notes written in his profile, but he's featured as a 'mascot pet' of sorts in my PBB 2024 thread, which you can check out here, if you're so inclined. |

Wave One, Task Two
Introduce your petz team-members to one another and post the results. Do they have good sportsmanship or a rivalry to sabotage another pet for the spotlight?
I'm writing this as I go as opposed to posting everything at the end, so I just have to say ... God I hope they like each other :") They've met before in some sort of combination, as I had them all out together for a teeny bit a while back for a PBB challenge, but I didn't really get a chance to see all their dynamics at play. (I'm kinda regretting not tossing a girl in here in retrospect, but the only other Petz i had set aside to naturally raised are from a different thing. Oh well! I'll find them mates someday.)
Rivet and Takanori I was hoping the meezers would get along, and they didn't ... not get along? But Rivet stuck his little nose up at Takanori at any opportunity. He did initiate tussles a couple times, but disengaged pretty quickly every time. Takanori seemed unfazed; he didn't ignore Rivet- in fact, as you can infer, he initiated wrasslin' sessions more than the other way around- and he also didn't start any fights. I separated them when the play got a little too rough (with the hissing and all- not straight up fighting, but still, it seemed like a good place to stop), and Rivet didn't dance around when Takanori was put away, so my theory is that he's just bein' a meezer. Likewise, when I did the door test the other way around, Takanori didn't react one way or the other.
Rivet and Teddie Just about the same here, although I think Teddie annoyed Rivet more than Takanori did- he was much more *insert angry noises* when Teddie pounced on him, whereas he at least humored Takanori a little. Just as I expected, neither of them really cared about the other's absence. I'm really hoping Rivet makes friends ... He's very clingy with me (though he calms down when I let him play with the beef treat box), and I think that might affect it in general (though I'm sure these specific 'meh' compatibilities are due to his high finickiness in particular). But I have plenty of other meezers I'm sure he'll be introduced to in time, so he'll find someone someday. (...NO I'm not playing favorites, I just think Ted and Takanori might have an easier time finding friends, so I'm not worrying too much ...)
Rivet and Videodrome This one went ... just about how I expected. Well, actually, there was less animosity (animal-osity?) on Rivet's side than I suspected there might be, but Videodrome canNOT stand that cat. It is On Sight for that guy- I brought him out and he immediately started barking his head off at Rivet, and when I set Rivet on the floor (he'd been up on the chair, of course), he came over to growl at him directly. So, I guess I'll have to keep these two separated, if I can. On the bright side, maybe it'll spice things up a little?
Takanori and Teddie I had no idea how these two would interact, but I took a couple pictures that I think encapsulates how that went ... Unfortunately, Takanori likes Teddie a lot, and gets sad when I (rightfully) remove him from the situation. It's always so sad to see  It's also diminishing my hopes of having any friendships between any of them; if I'm doing my math right, I only have a couple 'introductions' (observations might be a better word) left to do, and the only thing I have are a couple rivalries ;w; Takanori and Videodrome Videodrome started this play session out by barking, too, but this time out of ... greeting? Contractual obligation? Definitely not with the anger he had with Rivet. In fact, he seemed more curious about Takanori than anything. Takanori was civil, but didn't reciprocate all that much. Whereas Videodrome would circle him and wait for him to initiate something, Takanori would pay much more attention to me than him. Though, they did have a couple friendly tussles, which is MUCH more than I was expecting, lol. In fact, Videodrome seems to consider Takanori a friend- which is unrequited, of course, but there's no dislike on his end, and I'll take half a friendship over none at all, lol.
Teddie and Videodrome The team's last chance for a real friendship ... Unfortunately, they did not rise to the occasion. Teddie didn't like Videodrome the way Takanori did, but still, it sucks that Videodrome is so mean to him, since that means we don't have a single friendship in here. Maybe that'll change when they become adults...? But I guess it's not too late to add another pet ... I mean, it kinda is, but maybe I could pull it off. Agh. Well, it'll still be fun, I'm sure ... |

Wave One, Task Three SumOly Adoptions: Breed one or a few litters of petz to adopt out.
I bred a blue mixie cat of each breed in honor of Team Blueberry, because I forgot what team I'm on LMAO. You can see and adopt them on the DG Discord: x

I have actually done custom music before but I have never had any issues with it. You could try renaming it as one of the original songs and remove the original song from the songz folder.
