Buttons is now 27 on the brainslider, Dakota is at 21.

"Okay you two. You can each pick out ONE toy."


Buttons- What IS this?
Dakota- You should... stop doing that...


Dakota- I think I like this one mom...


Buttons- Really, what do you do with it?
Dakota- *Sigh* Cats...


Buttons- Chew on it huh? Why on earth would you chew on it? That seems ridiculous.


Buttons- I vant vee vone vease
Dakota- I'll take the Basket!

"Dakota... the basket isn't one of the choices, you're supposed to pick a toy out of the basket..."


Dakota- Hmmm... I do like this one..
Buttons- *sigh* Make up your mind already Dakota. Do you have to take forever in EVERY decision? I'll just take a nap here while waiting...
Dakota- Yep, definitely this one

"So the bone for Buttons... and the cat ball for Dakota...? *Sigh* Okay if you guys say so..."

They were hungry and tired by the time we got home.


No drama here today. They both ate out of their own bowls.

They were both too tired to choose a bed, so I chose a bed for them.

So first I'm going to post the pics I took of them the other day but never got to post / finish playing with them. No captions in this post unless I see something that must have a caption.

I played with Buttons & Dakota individually today to get some training and such in. Buttons went first. And yes... I cheated. I used the trickster tool to make buttons do tricks.

In no particular order...



She didn't learn anything in particular, we were just messing around

Next was Dakota...

We played with her ball, and taught her how to sit & lay down. She also did a very funny pose with the ball twice XD Cracked me up.



Now for today's updates...

We have a new addition who has been sitting in my email for a while now. He is bred by Vanilla! His name is Tucker <3 and he is a Shetland Sheepdog. I absolutely love him already. I was going to test out flyball for the new flyball trials then realized I couldn't because I don't have a stop watch.... so I just worked with him on it and taught him what to do;



I rewarded him with petting and a treat every time he jumped, picked up the ball, and jumped with the ball in his mouth. He caught on quickly and is really good at it! Great flyball prospect!

Then... we picked out a food bowl...



He chose the green one.

I figured it was time to introduce him to Buttons & Dakota to see if he'd join my DG crew or not....



They absolutely Love him, and he loves them! So cute together! So he will be joining my DG crew for sure <3

So... Dakota absolutely refuses to jump through the hoop which makes her a very poor Flyball prospect. So I need at least 3 more petz to complete my new generation of DG Petz.

So my 3... became a 4... Meet Shamsi!


I selectively bred him myself <3 He is the OW Saluki file mixed with the Surprise Lab. I'm not 100% that he is going to get along with everyone permanently or not. He does tend to get those grumpy eyes every now and then. But here are some pics from tonight;



Him and Tucker seem to get along great so far <3 I love how they snuggled up together. Buttons really seems to be a natural mother. She took them under her wing right away.

I haven't tried Shamsi at hoop jumping yet, I am hoping he is good at it!
