P5 Aspen Grove Huskies

I've decided that I need some Huskies over in p5. I had a bunch on my old computer, all from Shade, and now that I think about it... probably hiding in my email somewhere.... but for some reason they aren't on this computer. So I went to my own website and decided to 'adopt' River and then I let her pick out of the males which one would be staying with me.

She chose Avalanche.

So..... Here are my two new Husky pups I plan to raise together and show over at PKC. We'll see where it all leads.

* River (Chocolate & White) Female out of Aspen & Attu
* Avalanche (Grizzle & White) Male out of Chinook & Jack.








Just took some time getting to know them a bit and trying to train them together. For some reason, petz transferred from p4 to p5 are harder to train. It took a while and a LOT of jumping at the treat before they finally started to do something for the treat. I was successful in teaching River the 'Down' Command at least. Avalanche has some more work to do. I'll need to get in some one on one time with them for sure.

It's actually really fitting that I've chosen these two because I originally started with Joy and Jack in p5 when I first got into Huskies. Both were adopted from Tweakfox at Spirit Kennels. Now I am raising Jack's son (Avalanche) and Joy's grandaughter (River)! And... they both look a lot like Jack & Joy.

One on one time with River. She's age 39 today and a young adult.

We successfully taught sit and down and did some posing for the camera. She needs some work on her alignment and where to put her head. Then we went and tried Scarab crunch which we failed at lol. Next was Agility... which was also a fail since she refused to jump the hoop.
