I really like that you use real photo backgrounds, how do you even do that without making the pictures look terrible?! Your Olympics team looks so cute. I especially love Flax and Chia but I like them all! I'm looking forward to seeing them participate in stuff. Thank you  It's all about sizing the background image down right. I use Paint.net and add the background as a separate layer behind the petz, Shift+drag the image to be smaller, and select the white in the Petz pictures with the magic wand erase the white background  I can't resist an opportunity to be creative  By the way, we're on the same team |

So, the way you use real backgrounds for your playscenes is by using the playscene editor. First, you must convert a real picture to a BMP using a graphic editing program and then place it in the Playscene editor folder inside the Resource folder in your Petz 4 folder (usually in your documents). I've made a playscene of my real backyard and front porch and it really brings the magical illusion a little further, haha. Message me if you need help making playscenes |

My issue is mainly that pictures look so bad when I try to import them, I guess because real life photos have too many colours? I'll try placing it in that folder first, maybe that will help with importing it. Thank you!

Aww, thank you, Thor Naturally raising a team of petz to compete with, then breeding and repeating gives me a special sentimental experience I hadn't had before |

Posting this here as well as my SumOly Sports thread because it's sort of a general update, especially because it showcases Sunny <3 Baby Sunny has officially been born <3 She has cute little pointy ears and green eyes! Her ears and snout marking reminds me of Chia and her side of the family who are unrelated by the way. She's almost completely orange which is my favourite colour! I thought Sunny would be an appropriate name since she looks like a little ray of sunshine.  Another day in the future... Today I let my pleasant pack have a jovial day at the beach; I let them bask in the sun in an enriching atmosphere that included bubbles and catnip The enjoyed drinking hot cocoa   Baby Sunny savoured her time observing the clouds above <3  Speaking of Sunny, she's up moving and grooving as a healthy pup should I've never had a puppy in my athletic crew so orange before! I hope she'll shine in her personality and career as bright as her orange fur xP Sunny found a crabbie and Whinnie freaked out! She also got worried when she found a shell xDDD   But wait! It gets funnier!  Whinnie and Chia chew some catnip together and become intoxicated. Whinnie kept stumbling, and Chia couldn't walk in a straight line xD  Thankfully I was able to capture this moment where Chia was nipped out rolling on the sand! lol  Whinnie also frolicked in a cute circle while she was sober <3 |

 Sunny is nearly fully grown She was born almost one month ago, and I'm pleasantly surprised at her size! She's the perfect height in between her parents Whinnie and Conifer <3 I also find it very interesting that she has certain characteristics (ears that appear cropped) that make her resemble a Pit-bull mix, but there is not a single OW I'm breeding with, so I have no idea why Sunny and Chia (Who is unrelated to her) look a little Pit-bull like xD But I find it really neat!  I'm also entering Sunny in Cargo's Mousing trial. She was such a good hunter that she went straight for the squirrel and ate it xD What a feisty pup! I have updated my family lineage graphic for my Athletic Auvieay (Pronounced Aw-vee-ay) legacy! And yes, I may have changed the name of my bloodline xD Now the singular form is Auvieay and Auvaze refers to the plural form of dogz from my line xP I added our new special pup to the family tree... can you spot her?  I also added the updated family tree to my Quail's Nest Petz site along with a paragraph around the history of my Athletic Auvaze <3 Read about it here! |

Enjoying petz in various ways (playing, Olympic sports, and family lore) is one of my sanctuaries It's so comforting and delightful xP I get so obsessed with Petz sometimes... xD |
