Lure Coursing
Titles That can be earned;
This title will appear before your dog's Show name.
Field Champion (FC) - 15 Points + 2 Majors in Open Trials
*****
Points and placements in Trials
1st place winner will be awarded points depending on how many other dogs are entered. So there must be at least 2 petz entered for points to be awarded. Here's a run down of how points would go for 1st place;
1 Entry - 0 Points, no placement
2 Entries - 1 point
3 Entries - 2 points
4 Entries - 3 points + 1 major
5 Entries - 4 points + 1 Major
6 Entries - 5 points + 1 Major
^You get the idea right?
The major points can only be earned by the 1st place winner and only if there are 4 or more entries.
Any placement after 1st will get points dropping from what the 1st place winner received until you get to 1 point, then the remaining placements will all receive 1 point.
Example of a show with 5 entries;
1st- 4 points + 1 major
2nd- 3 points
3rd- 2 points
4th- 1 point
5th- 1 point
Example of a show with 10 entries;
1st- 9 points + 1 major
2nd- 8 points
3rd- 7 points
4th- 6 points
5th- 5 points
6th- 4 points
7th- 3 points
8th- 2 points
9th- 1 point
10th- 1 point
15 Points + 2 Majors = Field Champion (FC) Prefix title (Meaning it'll go in front of the dog's show name)

::TASK::
Simply take out an Auto rolling ball and give it a toss. Take a pic as your pet gets close to it so the ball is in the picture too. Enter the first pic you get, don't aim for perfection!
Dogs are judged on; Follow, Speed, Ability / Agility, Endurance, and Enthusiasm when judging by pictures. Or you can judge using random.org and randomly select the winners.
In petz terms, Follow is like focus, Speed is how fast they look like their going, Ability / Agility is if they look like they are handling themselves well, Endurance is if they look like they are staying at speed or slowing / stopping, Enthusiasm is their expression.
Here's more examples of acceptable entries!
All are acceptable entries, they will all be judged on the things mentioned above so some will do better than others! Again, don't aim for perfection otherwise judges will be forced to use the random generator because all pics will look too similar.
There are also trials where you can actually send your pet in. For these, petz compete against each other at the same time. They are taken to the playpen or desktop and allowed to get to know each other for a minute or two. Then an Auto rolling ball is taken out and wiggled around to get everyone's attention and in the same area. Then the auto ball is dragged around the boarder of the playpen or desktop for one lap. Petz place as they get back to the starting point. They can also be judged on Follow, Speed, Ability / Agility, Endurance, and Enthusiasm. If any interferes with another pet (tackles) they get DQ'd.
When hosting a trial like this, it's recommended to record the trial so you can look back on everything and judge that way. It's also smart to take a screen shot as you get back to the starting point.
