#16: Flyball!
It did not go well.
Unnamed puppy was the first to go. She's smart and energetic. This should be easy, right?
She doesn't believe in jumping through hoops.
I'm not even joking. I've tried to get her to jump through the hoop plenty of times by now and I think she did it maybe twice in her life at most. She doesn't even bat it away. She just entirely ignores it.
I guess doing backflips is ok too.
Ragtag can do tricks so she can technically jump through the hoop. She rarely does it, though. The above picture sums up her opinions about the hoop.
I used to train flyball with Raffles when he was a puppy, so I thought that if someone could do it, it would be him. Nope. He hasn't been in the mood for the hoop lately, so he just batted it away and did a half-hearted jump (no ball) before running off.
Ragtag to the rescue! I'd never tried to teach her this before, but she figured it out really quickly! She ended up doing a total of 5 jumps, which is pretty impressive, considering that a lot of her one-minute trial was spent chasing the ball around instead. I'm honestly really impressed xD

Challenge #18: fetch!
Raffles is usually my fetch champ, but I messed up a couple of throws xD In the end, he caught and brought back the ball the pompom 5 times.
Scrampus did really well, she caught it 6 times! That's an average of 1 every ten seconds and I'm impressed.
Ragtag didn't do as well:
This is her opinion of this kind of undignified activity. She managed to do it twice though so... yay? xD
I accidentally miscounted her catches because HOW COULD I NOT. Just look at that. She keeps doing weird faces and it cracke sme up. Anyway, her secore was either 5 or 6.
The winner is Ragtag for making a point about the futility of everything. Thank you, Ragtag.

#19: how many tricks?
I've been feeling kind of tired and not in the mood to play Petz or do much of anything, but decided to try this challenge.
I picked Ragtag for this challenge because she's a trickster! She knows all the cat tricks.
Up:
Down: Tail chase, crouch, splat.
Sides:
She knows the various jumps plus the somersault. (Both sides.)
Fetch:
Hoop:
I spent ages trying to teach her to jump xD

15. Draw a relationship chart/diagram of all your petz and their relationships.
Oof. I don't think I can do this for all my petz and their friendships, so instead I decided to make diagrams of the two biggest cat families in my game.
First up:
You may have previously seen these two, Ragtag and Bell. But did you know Ragtag's related to Bell's babies? She's their great-great-aunt, to be exact! Here's how:
(Please don't mind the ridiculous names! They're from when I still tried to name breeding project pets actual words so they're kind of random xD)
Nila and Buster had babies. I'm not sure of the birth other, so I just arranged them in a convenient way for the purpose of this diagram. Among the babies were Ragtag, her "twin" brother Lotto (I decided they're twins because they looked so similar) and a cat named Stabby.
I don't think Ragtag is only a second generation pet, so Nila and Buster might have had a bunch of ancestors that aren't featured here.
Meanwhile, Niles and Delilah had babies, including Jolene. Jolene and Stabby had babies of their own, namely, Dots. I actually don't remember if Dots is a single child or not!
Dots became a permanent part of my game and ended up falling in love with another of my permanent crew members, Bell. They were the first pets in my game to breed naturally, and they've had two babies: one who's still unnamed, and Jingle.
Now here's the big one.
I think of this as "Scrampus's family" because she's one of the oldest and most important members 
I got Ragtag from gyiyg. I got bored one day and used PetzA to breed her with another cat, Cutlery from Lee @ December. They were both small (though Ragtag is seriously tiny haha) and I was curious about what their babies would look like.
Both of them were bred from other pets and actually have a really long family tree! It's neat too look at, which is why I haven't trimmed their files yet... but probably should.
They had Scut, who still needs a better name.
Meanwhile, I recently did another breeding project. Janice and Pounce had C1. C1 and Shell had E2. E2 and Misha had C3.
C3 and Scut had a tiny baby, Wow. No, seriously, that the actual name, because I was so surprised.
Wow and Silver, in turn, had this baby you see at the bottom, who is still unnamed but who I love already.
Some in the Janice and Pounce lineage are cats I still have. Some have siblings that I'm undecided about, but if they stay in my game, that would be an even bigger extended family tree. |

10. Update your Petzy website or another equivalent that you use (e.g. a Showroom).
I revamped my site and updated with new downloads and stuff:
It's not finished (I still need to get around to updating the table with my crew) but it's fine for now.
I posted it on discord but I was having issues with neocities's upload feature so some images were broken at the time.

17. How many frisbee catches were complete in 1 minute.
First up, Raffles! He did ok. He caught the frisbee some 4 times and just chilled and took it easy -- he's been working hard lately.
I was curious to see how Bella was going to do.
It was disastrous. She didn't jump for the frisbee a single time. Poor Bella.
Meanwhile, I've been thinking about making Cloudberry one of my team members for August and:
She grabbed the frisbee twice! No mean feat, considering she's still so young and I was throwing it in the playpen. <3
