Excellent update, again You don't have to do daily updates, you don't even have to do weekly updates, it's just that when you first start everything is new and exciting and... updatable. As you stay here longer you'll have less to post on and that's fine, just don't leave us in the dark!

Good news! Our previously unnamed Dali and Mutt now have names as of yesterday: Pancake and Waffle! ECRose @ Mythic Silence is currently hexing a plate of pancakes, so I can't wait to feed them to these two! I felt like these were good names because they're both kind of silly-sounding, and these are very silly dogz - plus they go together, as do the pups.
Anyway, in light of this, I decided to spend the morning with the two of them, and I'm pleased to say that even though they're adults now, they still get along just as well as they did when I first brought them out of the AC.
All they want to do is play together! I always worry they'll play too roughly and get mad at each other, but they just seem to be having fun.
It was time to listen to some music; I wanted to see if they'd dance.
They did not. They really just wanted to play together.
They are quite genuinely joined at the hip, I think.
Then it was treat time, since they didn't seem very hungry but I figured I'd get some training in while they were all full of energy. The cutest thing is that they often do the same tricks in unison! Waffle is a little slower sometimes, but he seems to copy whatever Pancake does!
Here they are trying to eat a treat at the same time.
Waffle thought about it for a second before rolling too.
Then they got distracted by each other again and I had to wrangle them back into position.
Here they are doing the same trick at the same time! I hadn't even taught them that.
Then it WAS playtime. I gave them the star ball and they both seemed really excited by it.
Waffle got distracted by pettings while Pancake went nuts over the ball.
Then Waffle started doing tricks, and Pancake started posing.
I figured I'd see if they'd pose for the camera without the ball. I can't align dogz for the life of me, but I think they're doing really well! I doubt they're champion material (or more specifically, I'm not - I just cannot pose dogz) but I'm proud of them anyway!
As a reward for posing, they got introduced to some new toyz, and some breadsticks.
Sadly neither of them could catch the rolling ball.
Pancake really likes whatever this is! Waffle, not so much.
It might be his new favourite.
Grrr.

Aww Waffle seems uncomfortable with most new things, including that breadstick! So cute.

The other day, I decided to spend some one-on-one time with Peanut Butter.
She seemed pretty excited. Then she went sniffin'.
She found Hal! We played with the paint can for a bit. She does not look good. I gave her some milk as a reward for putting up with my colour experiments, and she went off to play with Hal.
She's so pleased! I figured I'd bring her some more toys to experiment with.
She liked this idea.
She REALLY liked the rainbow squishie.
A few other toys distracted her from it, though.
To say goodbye, I figured I'd give her a saucer of milk. She seemed uneasy about it. Why wasn't it in a bottle this time?
But then...
Approved!
Later that day, Pancake and Waffle got some pancakes! ECRose at Mythic Silence was kind enough to hex these for me, and they're available at their website. I don't know if linking is allowed here, but it shouldn't be hard to find anyways.
Pancake was VERY excited to meet his namesake.
Tasty.
He liked it so much that even after he was full, he still wanted to carry the plate around and chew on it.
I took Waffle out separately to give him Pancake's leftovers just to finish them off, and, well. He reacted as he does with everything: uncertainty.
Nervous little man! He really does seem so much more confident when Pancake's out with him. But the lure of pancakes is irresistible, even for him.
Tasty.

Peanut Butter is so cute, I love all of her pictures! Pancake being excited by the pancakes is hilarious and fitting. Poor Waffle, though, he looks so uncertain about pancakes, of all things.

I'm not surprised he's nervous, they'll give you diabetes just looking at them.

Aww <3 I absolutely loved reading through all of this and seeing all of their cute pics. I have such a soft spot for the original petz and I really love playing in petz 3 too. Wish I could find my disk because I really love that dogz can dance and bowls don't bounce.
I love Pog's name too, I think it should stay the same. For Sweet Tooth, Marshmellow, came to mind but I'm not sure if you're still looking for a different name for them or not.
Looking forward to seeing more on these guys! I always love your descriptions too because you really put time and thought into them and I feel like we're all learning so much about them.
