 January 9th is finally here. This thread is where you will find the gameplay challenges every week! To participate, create a thread in the Winter Olympics board — make sure to include your team and your name! Then use the thread to keep track of your challenges. Completing one challenge earns one point. Post pics in your gameplay thread to show you did/tried it! Choosing Your Petz Team:Your team can be any number of petz but they should be petz you received in December as gifts, through trades, from the Advent Calendars, or New Year’s Eve. You can also use new Olympics-themed hexies! Rules & Info:- You can do each challenge more than once if you like, but it will only count for a point once
- If you sign up late or just didn’t finish, you can still do previous weeks’ challenges at any time
- You can do the challenges in any order
- Attempt-based: even if your pet doesn’t catch the frisbee during the frisbee challenge (for example), as long as you post pics of the attempt, you still get a point
- Playdates don’t have to be streamed or recorded, you can just take photos
- A new set of challenges will be posted every Sunday!
- You have until February 19th to complete challenges. We will tally all the points and discover the winning team on February 20th!

Week 1: Jan 9 - 15
□ Introduce your petz team! Post pictures, names, and any other info you want
□ Schedule a play date (can occur anytime in the 6 week period).
□ Dress up: your petz in their team colours!
□ Make a Winter Olympics stamp to share
□ Update your avatar or signature to show team spirit!

Week 2: Jan 16 - 22
□ Host a dog pose show □ Set a timer for 2 minutes and see how many times your pet catches the frisbee. □ Post a picture of your pet(s) enjoying some hot chocolate □ Introduce (or re-introduce!) one pet to another and see how they do (post pics) □ Dress up: ready to play in the snow! Total: _ / 5 |

Week 3: Jan 23 - 29
□ Host a cat pose show
□ Take out a bunch of cat dancers, set a timer for 2 minutes, and see how many poms have disconnected from the dancer when the time is up.
□ If you are Kathleen, try to make the petz NOT disconnect the pom for 2 minutes!
□ Post a picture of your pet(s) going on a sled ride
□ Dress up: COZY SOCKS!
□ Post a picture of your petz dancing!

Week 4: Jan 30 - Feb 5
□ Host a frisbee show
□ Set a timer for 2 minutes and see how many gingerbread cookies or peppermints your pet can eat. (or any treat!)
□ Post a picture of your pet(s) having a snowball fight
□ Send a surprise card/graphic to a petz friend
□ Dress up: Let's see antlers!

Week 5: Feb 6 - 12
□ Host a trick show
□ Set a timer for 2 minutes and see how times your pet can fetch a thrown snowball. (or any ball!)
□ Decorate the snowman with your petz
□ Post a picture of your pet(s) having a winter treat
□ Dress up: show us your bow collection!

LAST SET OF TASKS! Participants, you have until midnight on FEBRUARY 19 to complete your tasks and update your point tally. Final count will happen on FEB 20!
Week 6: Feb 13 - 19
□ Host a special show (cuteness, photo editing, caption contest etc.)
□ Set a timer for 2 minutes and see how times your pet can jump through a hoop.
□ Dress up: winter hats!
□ Post a picture of your pet's favourite advent toy
□ Make a photo collage OR a picture of your petz in the snow scene
□ Post a picture of your pet(s) getting cozy on a pile of pillows
