1. Introduce your pet

Nikola - The pup of the team! Nikola was bred by Anthracite , her parents are Striker and Big Blue, and I am currently naturally raising her. Her and Neptune get along quite well so far <3

Neptune - The scottie! A beautiful new hex I received via a trade, from Jess!

Flora - The adorable, sassy little mini-pig hexed by and adopted from Bunni <3 One of the adoption rules was to include her on the team ^^ She's really the leader of this bunch haha

Orient - The oldie! Orient was hexed by and adopted from Loxie on June 23, 2008! I have a few fish/sea themed hexies and I wanted one to be included on the team. I also don't play much with my older petz so I thought this would be a good opportunity for one to get out of their folder for a while

Trove - Recently hexed by myself, Trove is a looted treasure Oshie! Inspired by my recent site layout update. Coincidentally happened to be a trickster right out of the AC! I went to go turn him into a trickster and found out he already was one haha

Elixer - The velveteen! Bred by Bunni , one stipulation for adoption was to show Elixer, he has placed in 3 shows so far, but I haven't really gotten back to showing yet so I thought I'd include him in SumOly in the meantime!

Hercules - And last but not least, the Red Panda Oshie, hexed by silverfish and given to me as a birthday gift <33 I got a few gifts for my birthday this year but I had already chosen my my team and I didn't want it too much larger, so I picked one of my gifts at random to be on the team, and Hercules made the cut!

A new and final addition to the team, Amaryllis! Bred by me, she is an 8th gen purebred NIB dali pup (bred with mutating spot OW), who I plan to naturally raise <3

I plan to do the daily prompts with Nikola and Amaryllis, but some of the others may feature in them as well!

2. Hermit crab

Nikola, Elixer, and Orient got to check out the hermit crab today!

Nikola picked it up briefly after the crab showed up and then went to sleep LOL She clearly wasn't that impressed.


Elixer was very interested - he batted at it and carried it around, really seemed to enjoy playing with it!


And Orient, also not too impressed - he watched it diligently till the crab showed, then went over to it, rolled on it, licked his butt on it (not a great pic but he definitely did it lol), and then sat on it for about a minute xDD

3. Dance or sing?

I tried "Dance or Sing" a few days ago and none of them wanted to do either lol
So I tried again today and had success with the whole team!

In the "Dance" category we have Amaryllis, Nikola, Hercules, Flora, Elixer, and Trove:






And in the "Sing" category, Neptune and Orient:

4. Getting a reward

For today's soccer game, the winners got rewarded with a handful of treats after!

Played at the Beach today with Amaryllis and Nikola - They took a while to play with the Beach ball but eventually the two of them started batting it around, and for a moment there, they looked like they were batting it back and forth?

Then they each had a nice drink from the water bowl - because all that beach-balling made them thirsty!

The wave was a bit more difficult, mainly because neither of them really reacted and I wanted a screenshot with the wave in the picture, but they just go by so quick! That was the only picture I got of one of them standing in the wave haha

9. Meet another pet
10. Mice

Went back to see if anyone on the team hadn't met each other and realized Hercules hasn't met most of the team - so I introduced Hercules to both Nikola and Amaryllis...

In typical Oshie style - Hercules was a little weary of meeting someone new, at least with Nikola.. even when she was asleep, Hercules was still anxious about her presence lol



Amaryllis on the other hand.. the second she came out of the carry case, Hercules tried to tackle her?? She missed though haha


And then she was fine with Amaryllis 🤷‍♀️ They still didn't interact much, but there was less oshie-running compared to Nikola.



After I put Amaryllis away - the mice started popping their heads out - Hercules was a little shocked at first, but then otherwise only mildly interested in them lol

8. Boomerang
11. Collection from the sea

We took the Boomerang to South Seas today - there was a lot of running around, knocking each other over, attempted catches (Nikola), and brief breaks to stare at the sky (Amaryllis). I think Nikola actually caught it once, but I'm not totally sure lol (see first pic??)
   
    
  

And then I went back and forth between the South Seas and Beach to see what treasures popped up and we gathered a "collection from the sea"!

12. Dress up
19. Paint bucket challenge

I already dressed up Amaryllis and Nikola in pretty outfits (see previous post) and I didn't want to "mess up" their outfits haha

So I randomly chose Neptune for Dress-up and Elixer for the Paint Bucket Challenge (which I don't actually know what that is, I just assumed, letting your pet paint themselves lol)



Neptune enjoyed herself and was quite proud of her outfit.

And it seems Elixer was also pretty happy with his results haha
