Decided to do some gardening and camping today, which ultimately led to some snoozing


First we planted a few flowers (I had a pretty big garden already though) and Nikola and Amaryllis enjoyed running through and playing in it for a bit...


...then I watered the dogz of course! (Amaryllis DID NOT appreciate this)


...and then I picked some flowers to see which one they each liked.
Nikola picked the Tulip first, and Amaryllis wanted it. Then Nikola picked the Rose, Amaryllis wanted that (and kept knocking her over!), so Nikola picked the Daisy, and of course, Amaryllis wanted THAT one.
Eventually Amaryllis gave up and got her own flower, choosing the Tulip while Nikola held onto the Daisy.


We then headed into "night time" (y'know, the Night Yard haha), for a little backyard camping!


The two girls enjoyed eating hot dogs, marshmallows, and s'mores fixin's around the fire.


(Not the butterfly!!)

And then, tuckered out from all the garden and camping fun, they fell asleep under the stars on their sleeping bags <3

17. Favorite camera pose

Quick one tonight - Amaryllis loves to try to/pose! and well... Nikola loves to cover her face LOL

15. Coolest trick

I always thought the ball balancing and bouncing ones were pretty cool, but I couldn't get Amaryllis or Nikola to do them lol
So I went with the treat tricks I thought were the "coolest" - The Screen slide, Heel click, and Cartwheel are ones I think are pretty neat!

Amaryllis seemed pretty keen to do some tricks and she learnt a few quickly, despite her Intelligence only being 13 haha
She is now trained to do a Cartwheel and Heel Click!
 

Nikola on the other hand was a bit more difficult, she REALLY just wanted to learn "Beg" lol
I did manage to get her to learn the screen slide though!

13. Favorite toy
18. Favorite game


For favorite toy, I checked out what each of Amaryllis and Nikola's fave colors were - Green/Yellow and Green/Blue respectively. Now both of them have zero finickiness so I wasn't really expecting much, but I took out a bunch of toyz in those colors, let them get acquainted and play with them, then put the dogz away, then let them out again to see which toy they went to. I also put all the toyz in the case to see which toy they would knock out. I did both a few times last night and tonight to see if it was consistent enough...

Amaryllis loved any of the balls! BUT she always went to the leprechaun afterward and she always knocked it out of the case!


And Nikola seemed to prefer the green toyz in general over the blue, but always ended up with the sneaker, and usually knocked it out of the case first!


And then we decided to play fetch! I wasn't sure what "game" to play with them, but I do always like a good game of fetch haha



And with that, all the prompts are complete AND Nikola is age 100 😭 Not that I won't play with her anymore ofc, I think she will be one of my "companion" petz from now on because I love her so mcuh - but just so sad that she's all grown up! haha
So as a bonus today, we also did some posing in preparation for entering shows!
