💚 Team Evergreen 💚 Gin'z Gameplay Challenges!

Week Two:

💚 Hoops & Hot Chocolate 💚

And we're very excited to be back for week two of the WinOly! Kicking this week off with the first two challenges in the list - let's see how the team from Gin'z Tavern does!

First challenge: Set a timer for 2 minutes and see how many times your pet jumps through the hoop.

I tried this with each member of my team with varying degrees of success! This is the first time they've encountered the hoop and there was lots of bashing it out of my hand!

Out of 8 team members, 6 managed a jump or more!

Number of hoop jumps in 2 minutes:

Babycham: 2
Bonnie: 2
Evergreen: 0
Joe: 3
Ruban: 0
Stocking: 10!
Tasty: 2
While Dancing: 10!

Stocking & While Dancing tied for first place here! Their prize is some tasty hot chocolate!

Second challenge: share a photo of a pet drinking hot chocolate:

Here's While Dancing (left) and Stocking (right) face-deep in their hot chocolate - I think they're enjoying it!

As you can see from the Snowman's blank expression, we have more challenges to get to! Stay tuned!

Both Evergreen and Tasty are too independent for their own good! Hopefully they'll get more into the team spirit soon xD In my next update, Evergreen does manage to make a very good friend

Week Two:

💚 A Pretty Big Deal of an Update 💚

Time to finish the rest of this weeks challenges - we got some very surprising results that I’m excited to share!!

First, let’s find out why Tasty is well, Tasty!

💚 What makes Tasty Tasty? 💚

Third challenge: Share the reasoning behind one or more of your petz names.

I had a mini interview with Lyric @ Lemonade, who I adopted Tasty from:

Gin: Why is Tasty named Tasty?

Lyric: So Tasty is an offspring and a sibling to the original Cookie Dough Dalis! The Cookie Dough Dalis were a longtime project from when I first joined the PC! I bred a line of purebred, non-inbred dalmatians until I had an entirely filled 8 generation tree. The result was the Cookie Dough Dalis! A litter of (mostly) cream-coated dalmatians, with a lot of spots, and one black ear, one selfie. Some special eye colors too, the Pick of the Litter, Snickerdoodle, has bright green eyes, for instance!

Anyways, when I was donating to Whiskerwick's advent calendar, I didn't have much to offer (Gin interjects: no way is this true!). I can't hex and I'm not great at selective breeding, but I had this purebred, non-inbred line that I KNEW people loved! And thus, Tasty and his siblings were born and adopted I'm so glad people liked that litter so much!

A big thank you to Lyric for sharing!

I loved learning about Tasty's origins. When I adopted him, I knew I was going to keep his name, because I also love food and drink related themes and projects, just like the Cookie Dough Dalis! It's a name (and a pup) that brings me joy!

💚 Tricks with Joe! 💚

Fourth challenge: Take a photo of a pet doing a trick for a treat!

I love the expressions pups make when a treat is out! (Although Joe is now a lot bigger than he was at the beginning of the challenge - he’s not a pup anymore!)

For the treat Joe performs a roll - well done Joe!

💚 Evergreen Defrosts 💚

Fifth challenge: Decorate the snowman in the snow scene with one or more petz.

I was determined to help Evergreen find a teammate he got along with by introducing him to each teammate in alphabetical order starting with Babycham the Bubble Mutt.

My hope was that decorating the snowman together would be a casual way to spend time with the snowman's expression being decided by how the meeting went.

Based on this meeting, what expression will the snowman receive? Babycham's expression suggests already that things haven't started well ...

Typically, Evergreen was grumpy and standoffish, prompting Babycham to stick to sledding instead of snowman decorating! But wait -

Things turned around big time!! They're flirting, how did this happen?!

The snowman is amused :3

And just like that, this fateful WinOly meeting will result in a new team member!

I didn't see that coming and I didn't have the heart activated, so had to check Babycham's profile to be sure! The finished snowman grins on.

Sadly, I lost the parents of the original Cookie Dough Dalis, so even if I wanted to make siblings, they would be more like cousins nowadays, so the litter I have plus the pups I donated to WW AC are the last of the official Cookie Dough Dalis! It means a lot to see Tasty be so well-loved C:

Yes I was so excited too! And I'll definitely sharing, one little pup coming right up!

NOOOO I'm so sorry that you lost the parents of the og CDDs, that sucks but I'm glad you still have a litter and that Tasty & his siblings remain from the project! Tasty will make them proud hopefully (he's 99 days old omg), I've had so much fun with him so far! 

Without futher ado, I present Babycham & Elderflower's puppy:

Meet little Defrost! (I had to call her that in honour of the WinOly xD I think having a puppy or kitten mid-challenge deserves extra points just saying ) Defrost mostly takes after Dad, but her brown ears reflect Mum's Mutt genes! She might have some Mutt body parts too, but I can't tell at this stage! The parents are chuffed and still crazy about each other!

Week Three

It's midway through week three already?! I'd better get on it!

💚 Tasty's Treatz 💚

First challenge: Set a timer for 2 minutes and see how many treatz your pet can eat.

This challenge had Tasty's name all over it - literally! 

He gobbled down 26 treatz! In hindsight, my strategy slowed him down as he got distracted every time I took out a new treat! Still, 26 isn't bad and now he's very chunky as a result!

💚 Beaming in Bows 💚

Second challenge: Bows, bows, bows! Dress up your pet(z) in them and share their cute photos.

Bows are such a cute clothing item, I had to get all the team involved in this one!

They all look so cute *o* also can you spot our new little team member, Defrost?

💚 A Bonnie Sled Ride 💚

Fifth challenge: Get one of your petz to go for a ride on the sled!

We're jumping ahead a bit with this one, as the other challenges need a bit more time. Bonnie's Mutt revival Babycham already proved her skills on the sled (and won Evergreen's affection!) and so Bonnie's keen to step up for this one!

After a bit of a shaky start, she finally got the hang of it! (She also became an expert of sledding in thin air!)

The next challenge is to get the rest of the challenges complete before the end of the week!

Week Three:

💚 Thank yous, Toys & Trotting Tots! 💚

Back to smash the remaining Week Three challenges!

💚 I'm Joe Grateful! 💚

Third challenge: Send a surprise card/graphic to a person who hexed/bred one of your petz to thank them.

A random name generator chose Joe and so I've sent my thanks to his hexer, Bunni!

I got carried away and also made a stamp:

which is free to collect for anyone who would like it 💚 

💚  Tasty's Toys 💚

It's official:

I can't believe he's reached this age already, it feels like no time at all! (He's still CHONKY from completing last week's treat eating challenge!) In celebration of his 100th birthday, we're going to try and identify his favourite toy.

Fourth challenge: Help one of your petz discover their favorite toy.

The line-up; I've only got mostly default stuff in my game at the moment, so let's see what Tasty loves from these classic Petz toys!

He went straight for the star ball and otherwise only showed interested in the different balls ... So we tried a balls-only line-up to narrow it down!

There was a bit more interest in the football this time (at least, it's called a football here in the UK!)

But after a bit of deliberating, the star ball won again! So I think we have Tasty's favourite toy! And with that, all of Week Three's challenges can be crossed off!

💚 Bonus Defrost Update 💚

Checking in on Babycham and our newest team member little Defrost - Defrost is up and running around now!

She's adorable, especially with her trotting! I'm hoping she continues to trot into independence - I've had trotting pups before that never trot again once they come out by themselves!! Regardless, I'm still looking forward to playing with Defrost once she's an independent pup. Maybe she'll be able to partake in the next round of challenges?!
