Wood Panel Rescue's got a new group of Scotties stepping up for some show training!
Shepard's Shore Party
"A Better Beginning" Pathfinder "Distant Worlds" Onaon "First Star to Rise" Vaalon "Biotic Vanguard" Charge "Celestial Rock" Keph
When I starting training my very first pose competitors ever last winter, I did so in a group of five to track their progress, friendships, and drama along the way. I wound up loving that format so much that I'm going to stick to it!
Meet our new batch of hopefuls, Shepard's Shore Party. These pups will be naturally raised to age 100, at which point whoever developed a passion for the show ring will go on the road for ribbons! Since each of them has a call name and showname inspired by the Mass Effect series, the hope is to have them ready by November 7th, the celebratory focal point for Mass Effect fans lovingly referred to as N7 Day.
I'm excited to watch their personalities develop as they grow. We already have one pup pulling ahead as the natural poser and some very complicated social situations emerging, so stay tuned. Scotties are always a handful.

I'm extremely late commenting on this but found your thread by checking out your website and I absolutely love how you do groups of five and the whole concept of it all! Sounds like a lot of fun! Did these guys ever achieve greatness or did life get in the way and you haven't been able to yet? They are all super cute <3

Did these guys ever achieve greatness or did life get in the way and you haven't been able to yet? They are all super cute <3 Aw, I'm so glad you like the concept! The best fun for me is seeing how the relationships develop -- treating it like it's a group of schoolkids in the same club or something. You have to make sure everyone has a good time, encourage good behavior, pack enough snacks... and the headcanon practically writes itself. It really gives you a full idea of who your petz are as their personalities play off of one another while they grow. And no, there hasn't been a lot of progress yet -- these little pups' training got interrupted by life for a good while. But I'm gearing up to get back into it soon! I miss showing. And I have some fun ideas to incorporate! 👀
Thanks for commenting. It made my day. 🤎

It really is so fun to see personalities develop and the relationships between petz! Keeping things to a small group really helps you get to know them and I find it more enjoyable and more relaxing.
Life tends to do that sometimes! Happy you're getting ready to get back to it soon, I look forward to following along with your petz!
You're very welcome! <3 Comments are always so nice to get!
