Since the pregnancy announcement thread is working so well, and because my cattery board is mostly birth announcements, I've decided to make this thread to keep track of births. :-)

I never thought I'd see the day, but Peridot finally fell in love! He and Peanut hit it off right away when she became an adult, and a few days later, out popped Walnut : - ) She didn't seem to inherit any of Peridot's genes besides the ones Peanut also has ... I wonder if he's suspicious 🤔

Peanut is a doting and affectionate mama, which is a nice change of pace from Zamazenta and Pianoforte, who were... well, they were sorta displeased. Meezers are like that.

Okay, so Piano and GT weren't supposed to have any more kittens, but uhhhhh I broke lol. I like kittens, alright!? And Honeybee is super cute- I love Petz that are just prettier versions of their purebred/AC versions. In terms of names, Honeybee breaks the accidental J pattern, but it's still fun to list their kittens' names (also accidentally). Jet, Juliette, Jubilee, Honeybee ... It's cute. Anyway ...

As per, Piano isn't a particularly attentive mother, but she does her best, I guess. She eventually did get around to nursing little Honeybee, and I mean ... it's not like she's going to die, right? ... Right?

Lots of nature-themed names today! Much like Walnut, Tansy takes after his mom 1000%- I honestly sorta want to let Cayenne and Zama have kittens until one of them is an alley cat, cuz what're the odds of having 4 Siamese kittens in a row when one of the parents is an alley? 6.25%?

Speaking of Mamazenta, I'd always thought of her as a pretty decent mom, but uh, she's sort of a deadbeat this time around. I guess she's tired of having kittens, lmao. Your next kitten had better be an Alley Cat then, missy, cuz apparently I can't resist unneutering a cat, lol.

I couldn't decide whether to name him Oreo or Milkshake, so... both?

anyway, looks like this lil guy has goofy proportions just like his dad (although not poofy-tailed, which maybe makes it goofier actually?) and wuaaaa look at that coloring.... he IS cookies and cream... it becomes him...

i'm too sleep-deprived to be able to take much Meezer Mom Meowing™️ but they're very cute. will report back on the maternal instincts on this little lady later

I legit GASPED when Equinox was born. What a gorgeous cat- so autumnal too! A perfect October kitty :3 (Thank God for Mandi's Patchy Cali OW.) As surprised as I am that Peanut and Cider fell in love, it's certainly made up for by how pretty Equinox is. And yeahhh of course I'd still love her even if she were ugly, but this is a lot nicer lol.

Peanut is VERY distressed that she's not getting all my attention, though.

another meezer. 3.125%, I think? yeah the PRNG is tormenting me, but chester is SUPER cute so it's forgiven. He looks like a perfect mix between Peridot and Junco, a couple of his siblings, which is pretty cute. ... I'm not looking forward to having to find all of these little guys homes. TwT



Zama loves him to death! She's always making cooing noises and giving him heart eyes. Maybe she's a good mama after all... (This is also why I don't have any solo pics of him, lol.)

Cookie Dough jumpscared me with this one (came up to the door on her due date while I was in the middle of doing something else), so I decided to name her after my #1 favorite horror girl of all time, Natalie Scatorccio n_n

I don't think Cookie Dough is huge on being a mom. She'll have kittens but she really doesn't gaf lol. OH WELL!!! scatorccio is cute and she only has to deal with her for a few days.

FINALLY. Man if the person I was planning on offering her to doesn't accept her im gonna be so embarrassed. who would, though?? she's super cute TwT

Zama is... dubious. I think she's confused that she's not a meezer like her.

Well, that's ... surprising. I must have forgotten or just not looked, but GT does have a calico head gene in him, so I guess that explains that!  (He also has an alley cat personality gene in him and no siamese personality gene? Interesting.)

Piano is mostly unfazed ... but not completely.

Side note: if anyone wants any of these kittens to naturally raise, let me know! Sometimes I have homes in mind for them, but not always.
