jackdaw was born september 30, 2023 and is almost 6 months old.he has four siblings and was born first!650 generations - cali mix/scphe likes milk + cheese + leftovers + mice - loves the colors green + yellowpartner: (he has a crush on like 4 catz lol. he'll decide his partner when he's an adult)origin left to right jackdaw crow raven magpie rook in september of last year while i was breeding catz again to sell on pugs, i ended up breeding a few from a pair and couldn't decide which ones to keep... so naturally i kept all of them lol. JD is very domineering compared to his siblings, which are all named after corvids, and is usually the one that gets into the most trouble. jackdaw isn't of age to enter into shows yet!

i thought it would be interesting to document Jackdaw's behavior towards all his siblings, as i'll be keeping them all and their family is probably gonna get decently large. i've played with them all in the same playscene before but rarely with Jackdaw out and one other sibling present. i'm just going to play with them like i usually would if i was casually playing. :9Jackdaw and his sister Crow play decently well together! they play with each other or by themselves and both get sad when the other leaves. Crow is a very affectionate cat so this doesn't surprise me.
Raven is a little more to herself. She prefers to play alone and will sometimes actively ignore Jackdaw trying to play with her. Interactions were often started by Jackdaw, with Raven sitting quietly.
His sister Magpie also commands attention when she's in the playscene. They match each other's dominant and very energetic nature, and thankfully never bump heads with one another. They feed off each other's energy so things get a little chaotic.
Compared to all of his sisters, Jackdaw hates his brother Rook. They fight one another and rarely play together. Rook is quieter than Jackdaw, but will chase his brother and let him know he's not happy once agitated.
The relationship possibilities compared with individual petz personalities is endlessly fascinating to me! For further perspective, Rook plays fine with the three sisters, and there is animosity among Raven and Crow. As they grow and develop more, I have seen them either buckle down or reverse how they feel about one another. For example when they were very young both Jackdaw and Magpie would often fight and hiss at one another, now they no longer do.
I'll keep updating as Jackdaw grows older!

Awww! I love that you kept the whole litter <3 That's 100% something I'd end up doing too if I couldn't make a decision XD Jackdaw and his siblings are all adorable and I love their coloring! It is so fun to see their personalities develop.
