Username: TheCatInGrey
Prefix: Maniacal
Petz Version: 4 & 5
Do you have a website?: thecatingrey.neocities.org/
What brought you to Duke's Group?: I wanted to show off my Chromebook Crew!
Do you have any real life petz? (Feel free to show pics!): Two cats and a dog, but I don't have an easy way to share images right now.
Anything else you'd like to tell us about yourself?: Howdy! My name is Grey, and I've been playing Petz for around two years now. I have a pretty sizable crew, but for this forum, I'll be focusing on my secondary crew: The Chromebook Crew!
Pics of your favorite petz and/or petz you hope to participate with here: Well, if I'm going to introduce The Chromebook Crew, I have to tell their story, too!

In fall of last year, I attended my first college classes, and I needed a laptop, but I don't own one. In order to avoid having to buy an entire computer for my classes, I checked out a Chromebook from the library. Now, I'm not... a huge fan of Chromebooks, but that's a discussion for another day.
It didn't take me long to start wondering if I could install Petz onto it, and turns out, I could, using WINE! I quickly assembled a mighty crew of catz who were ready to take on the world!
Joe Schwarcz was the first to join The Chromebook Crew. She was named by my classmate, after someone whose writing we were studying. She's easy-going and gets along with just about anyone.
Pastry is a Tigerinez, a hexie created by the Skinstealer System. She's a little rough around the edges, but she cares for her family deeply.
Buzzy is a candied tabby, a hexie made by queenie. He's just a silly little guy, Your Honor!
Boring, short for Boring Oregon, is the son of Joe and Buzzy. Be nice to him, he's sensitive.
Kinkajou is the son of Pastry and Buzzy, and is far less sensitive than his twin (Boring and Kinkajou were born on the same day, so I call them twins). He can be a bit of a bully, especially towards Boring, but we're working on it.
Dawn is the second hexie I ever made, and the one that both introduced me to LNZLive and made me really fall in love with hexing. I made her after challenging myself to make a hexie entirely on my Chromebook- LNZLive is the only hexing program that works on a Chromebook, so that was what I used. Dawn is a sweet and friendly cat, and so cuddly!
Cream Puff is Joe and Buzzy's second kitten. Isn't her tan cheek just the cutest little thing?
Babs is Pastry and Buzzy's second kitten, and the twin sister of Cream Puff (again, same birthday). She's a lot sweeter than her big brother, Kinkajou, but she's got plenty of time to grow into her Black & White Shorthair personality.
Each member of this crew is naturally raised- which is why I'm focusing on them for this forum. I'm excited to share their adventures with you all!
