This amazingly adorable furball is Decadence. When I saw him I just had to have him. Amanda breeds the most amazing things, doesn't she? Completely irresistible. Decadence is the perfect Alley Cat. Beautiful markings, stripes, poofy tail, and slothy eyes, which is my favorite eye color! He is named after lyrics from the song Decadence by Disturbed, one of my all time favorite bands.

Decadence is an adorable little kitten. Even though he hates having his picture taken of course, just like any Alley, he's really not that evil, at least not as a kitten. He's not a trickster, but he does like to play fetch! A fetching Alley, how adorable!

I introduced Decadence to the rest of the natural raising crew, but things didn't go so well...

 

At first, Decadence and Wish seemed like they would get along. They were bouncing around each other and Wish was play bowing and it was all really cute. But then suddenly my usually friendly and easygoing Wish started barking angrily at Decadence, sending him running. I guess that friendship isn't going to work out.

Something very similar happened with Decadence and Zachariah.

At first, they seemed really friendly. They greeted each other with paws out.

But then, same result.

Things went better with Samson though. Decadence actually got along well with the pig. They play wrestled over and over and there was no animosity. So at least Decadence has one friend in this group.

So that is my first cat in my DG naturally raising group!  That's Decadence!

Decadence is gorgeous, love his colour combination! Poor kitty, making friends ain't easy! I'm glad Samson seems to like him though <3

Wow that friendship was fast-- perhaps something fickle caused Wish and Decadence to fight?

Maybe Decadence has fleas? I know that my sister's alley cat was hated by everyone and then I cured the fleas it had and it was not hated. She found love and had a baby.
