Meer is Back! And Raising New Petz!

Hey, it's me, Meer, back from a long hiatus! Sorry I left suddenly without warning and staying away so long, I couldn't help it, I had RL stuff to go through. I may be slightly less active for a while, but I will be here!

So, here is an update on how my naturally raised petz are doing, and some introductions to some new petz that I will be naturally raising!

Oh also, sorry all my old pictures are broken, my website is down and that's where I had them uploaded. Hopefully I can get it back up and running soon, but I don't know for sure. Anyway, on to the petz!


Wish and Zach are fully grown now and ready to enter the show ring! Well, Zach is age 99 so technically he has one more day till he's officially fully grown, but close enough.


Harley and Sandman are ready to jump back in the show ring after the hiatus. And they are still in the friend zone. Once they reach their titles I may have to plan a romantic evening for them to see if any feelings develop, because I really want puppies from them.


Markov and Inaaya are officially adults now, although they still have some growing up to do. They are good friends but no romance here either. Why do none of my petz want to fall in love? XD


Decadence is fully grown now, and Delicto and Mercedes are very very close to being full grown, they are both at 93. Delicto and Mercedes are still good friends. But Mercedes still hates Decadence after their breakup.

Scrap

I adore Scrap so much! Look at her neat large even eyes, even though she is an alley! Came from a file that Rho made I believe. Now normally I love the fact that alleys have uneven eyes, but Scrap's even eyes make her unusual and special, and I love unusual things so I like it. Scrap is also my very first trickster cat! Well I mean, I have hundreds of petz, I'm sure I have a trickster or two in there somewhere, but Scrap is the first one I've found, and the first one I've gotten since I got back into Petz after my years long hiatus. So that's very exciting to me, having a cat who does tricks. And it's great having an alley cat who does tricks, cuz I can train her as long as I want and she'll never get fat, LOL! Scrap's show name is lyrics from an Alanis Morissette song. I love her all brown shaggy coat with no markings, makes her look so feral. And unusual too since everyone always breeds for lots of markings. But I love Scrap just the way she is.


Rhyme

I've been wanting a cute Oshie mixie with an Oshie personality for a while. When I saw Rhyme's picture I thought he was perfect! He was doing that typical Oshie panic run in the picture so I knew his personality was right, and he was so cute with his big feet! I love big feet. Then when I started playing with him I thought maybe I had got it wrong, and he wasn't an Oshie personality. But I looked in his file and yep, he's an Oshie! He's just the bravest Oshie I have ever witnessed. He hardly ever gets scared, and the camera doesn't bother him much. But he's a sweetie. He also has a hidden tail tip, chest patch, and face stripe! He gets along very well with Riot. Who would have thought? An Oshie and an Alley. But they are best friends!

Riot

Aaaahh Riot!! I love him so much! I have been wanting a gypsy or patchwork marked alley for years, YEARS! And I finally found a great one! Riot is so pretty and cute. His main color is black and his gypsy points are brown, and he has cute white markings that stand out nicely against the dark colors. He's got the perfect mixed alley shape, with big feet and skinny legs and my favorite kind of poof tail. I bought him the second I saw him so I wouldn't miss out and I have never regretted it. He can be quite nasty and rude, as all alleys can, but he is super sweet and nice to his best friend Rhyme. They are inseparable. Riot will beat up and scare away anyone who makes timid little Rhyme scared. (He's brave for an Oshie, but he's still an Oshie) They are an adorable pair!


Seishin

OMG, Meer has fallen in love with a Dali! The world must have turned upside down! XD (for those who don't know, I have never cared for Dalis. I know everybody loves them, but I'm the 1% who doesn't. It's their skinny bellies mostly that gets me). But somehow when I saw Seishin I fell in love and had to have her. Partly it's her all white head and unusual markings, partly it's that big fluffy tail. She gets those traits from the Surprise Dali OW file. I made sure to get a copy of it in case she falls in love when she grows up, so she can pass those traits on to her puppies. But anyway, that wasn't all it, there was just something extra special about this dali that I couldn't resist. And I'm having lots of fun playing with her athletic and hyper personality. (as I'm used to mostly clumsy Danes, they are my usual favorite) When I got her, her all white head made me think of a ghost, but I already have a pet named Ghost (an albino Great Dane). So I searched Google for the word for Ghost in Japanese, because I like Japanese things. But that word didn't seem to fit so I tried some other similar words, until finally I settled on Seishin, which means spirit. I think it fits her quite nicely. She has two best friends, Ryoshi and Khodi. She gets along great with both of them. But unfortunately Ryoshi and Khodi hate each other, so I can't have the three of them all play together, too bad.


Ryoshi

What's this? Another Dalmatian? Has Meer gone nuts? XD Yep I guess I have. Once I adopted one Dali I found another I couldn't pass up either. I love black dogz with white markings. And his fuzziness just makes him that much cuter! He's very good at frisbee even though he's only a puppy. He loves to wear a light blue collar. And his best friend is Seishin. He gets very sad if she gets put away and he is left out, he never wants to be without her.


Khodi

I love Danes with Sheepie feet and Chi ears! And Khodi has hidded spots too! You can see one of them over his chest patch. What more could you ask for? He's a typical Dane and very clumsy. Seishin, his best bud, trips him up all the time. XD He is very fond of Seishin, but is very jealous of Ryoshi and Seishin's friendship so he barks at Ryoshi all the time if they are out together. He can not be convinced that Seishin can be friends with them both.


Feather

Wow is Feather not the most beautiful cat you've ever seen? She's bred from a new file Amanda has made. There were a bunch of kitties bred with that file for sale in her PUGS shop and I had a hard time just picking one, they were all so pretty! But Feather caught my eye and I thought she was the most beautiful so I took her home. I haven't figured out yet who she gets along with best and who she doesn't. I brought her out with Scrap for a while but they basically ignored each other the whole time. So I guess they don't care one way or the other about each other, LOL.

Look for more updates on these guys as they grow up!

I'm not entirely sure I remember you, but welcome back I love the way you've done your intros and collages. I've also recently fallen for Danes after coming across a naturally eared file, they're wonderful derps.

Well it's been quite a while since I've been here, and I wasn't here a super long time before my hiatus.  But thank you for the welcome back!    And thank you very much, I'm glad you like my intros!  Yes Danes look really nice with natural floppy ears.  I love to either hex or breed them that way.  And they are wonderful derps, it's hilarious!  They've been my favorite dog breed for as long as I've been playing Petz.  They are very funny yet majestic looking at the same time, hehe!  I really like RL Great Danes too.  I've never owned one but I know someone who has had a few, and they were great dogs.  I'm glad you've discovered the wonders of Danes!

I love these oldschool intros so much. Harley is absolutely stunning ;; I, too, love floppy-eared Danes!

Thank you! My intros are old school? I'm so old school I don't even know it! Hehe, I'll take that as a complement! And yay, another floppy-eared Dane lover! We could make a clique or something. XD Thank you so much for the complement on Harley! I hexed her myself, spot by spot. If you'd like to see more pictures of her, there is a thread here introducing her and Sandman. The images don't work right now, but they should work again as soon as I get my website up and running again. That might take a few days, but they should all be working soon!

And now, a little update!

The pups and kitties are getting a little older, running around more and interacting with each other more. So I took some more pictures of them together.

Ryoshi is a silly little guy, always goofing around, and his best friend is still Seishin. They get very sad if either one of them is put away. I wonder if they will grow up and fall in love and make adorable Surprise Dali mix puppies! I have the Surprise Dalmatian in my game already just to be sure she will pass down her traits right no matter when or with who she falls in love with.

 
Seishin is just as silly as Ryoshi is. She is an amazing Frisbee catcher. At least, when I can get her to pay attention to the frisbee in the first place. She gets distracted very easily. I don't know if that's just because she is a puppy, or if that's her base personality. I guess we shall see. She also seems to be a great poser, even at such a young age. It seems like almost every time I click the camera she poses for me, no matter what else she's doing. I've never shown a Dali before, I'd like to try with Seishin. I have heard that Dalis are easier to pose than Danes, and Danes are mostly what I've shown, so we'll see.

I hadn't introduced him before, because I am trying oh so hard to limit the number of Petz I naturally raise at a time. But he's my first pitbull from Lida's wonderful file, he's purebred and non inbred and so beautiful! And he looks smashing in Lida's new spiked collars. (which are so much better than my collars ;_; ) Anyway, I just couldn't resist aging him down to a puppy and introducing him to the rest of the gang. So far he seems very friendly, making friends with Seishin and Khodi already. He seems to really love that hat too. I can't remember where I got it, but he looks great with the combination of that collar and hat.

Some pics of Rhyme and Riot. Since they are so adorable together, I can't stop taking pictures of them. As you can see I had them dressed up for quite a few of the pics, I can't help it, I love those outfits, they look so good on any pet! XD They love to lean in and give each other those sweetie eyes. They do it so much, if I didn't know it was impossible in the game, I would say they are in love, hehe! Hey wait a minute, did you kittens do catnip? Bad kitties, you know you are too young for that stuff! No more catnip until you are at least 50 on the brain sliders. ;P

I have been trying and trying to find a friend for Feather. She doesn't have a lot of fights, she just seems to feel meh about most other catz. And the dogz, while none of them have barked a her yet she has glared at them all.


I tried Feather with Rhyme, and they had a few wrestles, just playing, no cat fights. But then other than that they just ignored each other. More meh feelings.

Then I tried introducing Feather to Riot. And at first it was the same thing. Lots of play wrestling, but not much else. But then after a while they seemed to warm up to each other! They yowled together, which I think is so cute. Then they started doing the googly eye staring thing and I knew they were friends! Finally Feather has a friend. Riot sure has a way with unpopular or scaredy cats, doesn't he?

Seishin and Khodi, why do I always seem to end up with less pictures of these to playing? It's not that I like Khodi any less, or that Seishin likes him any less, neither of those are true at all. I guess when they are playing I just forget to take as many pictures. Will Seishin end up falling in love with Khodi instead of Ryoshi? Khodi is a Dane with big poofy Sheepie feet and funky big Chi ears, what will that add to the mix. There will be interesting puppies either way.

Oh and by the way, that greyscale cat in those two pictures at the bottom, that is Oreo, from Megan @ Oasis & Xoops via PUGS. He is an amazing beautiful cat. But as I said I am trying to limit the amount of petz I am raising at once. But I love him so much, maybe at some later date he will find the fountain of youth and become a kitten again for me to raise.

And now my older pups, Markov and Inaaya Playing! Technically they are adults, but if you ask me, the adult milestone should be made quite a bit later along the age slider. Not all the way to 100 mind you, just a little farther than 30 or whatever it is. That's way too young. They still look and act like puppies.

Anyway, sorry for my little rant there. Morkov comes from show dog stock, so he will definitely be shown once he's an adult and I have room on my show team. Inaaya I'm not sure, because I still can't think of a good show name for her. In the mean time, these two love to play together.


And here are some funny pictures I took!

Punk Pups!
I decided to dress up my pups in some cool outfits. I love those matching rainbow sets. Bold rainbow and pastel rainbow. All the rainbow stuff, besides the glasses, was made by me a long time ago. And then someone (sorry I don't know who) decided to make a pastel rainbow set, clearly a recolor of my stuff, plus added glasses, which I think is so cool! It made me feel so great to see something I'd made built off of and made into something new! And the round glasses of course were added later by Buck (can't remember who recolored them to rainbow, sorry) completes the sets very nicely.

I also dressed them up in hoodies, which I absolutely love and wish there were more colors of! And added mohawks and sunglasses for a cool look. Then when I adopted Ryoshi I added him to the dressup party, only I have him some different random outfits.

Thanks both of you!  I adore Scraps too, she's awesome!  And that random pose is almost perfectly aligned!  If it was just a little better I would enter her in shows with it.  If only I could get her to pose with the camera instead of getting mad at it, I'd show her for sure!  XD

And I'm glad all the effort I put into these pics and updates is appreciated!  ^_^  I enjoy doing it but it is time consuming.

Hey Thor!! Yes it's good to be back, thank you for the welcome back, and don't worry about it being late, you are not a bad friend, we all get busy sometimes. ^_^


We have two new additions to my current naturally raising group. I know, I have so many already. I try not to raise too many petz at once so I have time to spend with all of them, but I can't help myself, I find a new pet I like and I want to naturally raise them. I like raising groups anyway. So let me introduce the newbies!

Jacky

Hexed by me

First we have Jacky. A little bunny hexed to resemble a real pet rabbit I had as a kid. Her name was Jacky so that's why I named this bunny that. A simple hex, but I really like her look. I made her age 6 to start so I have more time with her as a kitten. Or whatever you call a baby rabbit, I think it's kit. And because petz look so cute when they are that small. Since she is so young I am supplementing her fresh veggie diet with milk from a bottle, which she seems to really enjoy. She's a precocious little thing for being so young, and already loves to explore. She seems to like the green Frisbee. Maybe it's her favorite toy? I'm not sure yet.

Lupin

Second we have Lupin. I can't take credit for that cool name, he came with it. I liked it so I kept his name that. He looked so pretty I couldn't resist adopting him. He has an Alley Cat face but a Maine Coon personality, so adorable! He has markings and textures from OWs from Cargo that I really like. Lupin loves to throw things from up on a ledge. Silly kitty.

I introduced Lupin and Jacky to each other. They wrestle some but otherwise don't seem to interact, so I don't know if they will become friends or not. Maybe Jacky is too young yet? We shall see.

I also introduced Lupin to Rhyme, and they hit it off! They sang together twice, it seems they are going to be good friends. Rhyme is a generally very friendly and very brave Oshie.

I haven't introduced them to the rest of the group yet, I hope they both make some friends.

             
But then Mercedes came out with Rhyme and Riot and let the kittens have some catnip! A good time was had by all. But Mercedes got a bit of a talking to by me, as I think the kittens are too young for recreational catnip yet. But, it seems there was no harm done, Rhyme and Riot are fine now.

Everyone else is doing good. The current group of puppies and kittens are almost adults, one more day and they will reach that milestone, although they still have a lot of growing up to do. Wish and Zach have started their show careers. Zach doesn't have any results yet, but so far Wish has gotten an HM and 2nd place. Good start!
